I still haven't replaced the glock 27 that I have on loan from a friends vast armory.

Im probably going to just buy it soon from him, unless I find another glock 17, or a 19, for cheap, to cut down to take g26 mags....

if I buy it, Ill atleast have 400 in it...and buy a nice 9mm conversion barrel, something match-gradish....

Just curious, but what was the distance (required in Texas)?

I believe it's 3, 7, and 15 yards..

Bingo. 20 from 3yds, 20 from 7yds, 10 from 15yds.

I would have gotten a perfect score if it wasn't for that flyer 🙁. They increase the time you have to fire all the rounds in the group, and by the first multi-round group at the 7 yd line I was still shooting at 3yd speed.

Oh well, 248/250 well exceeds the 175 required to pass :awe:.

I was using my CZ-82 9mm Makarov while my Fiancee was using her .380 Bersa Thunder

anyone followed the g36 issues with the german army?

is it just the tin barrel coating or is the polymer just that poor.

Ordered a new suppressor last week - the new AAC Ti-Rant 45M that came in stock at silencershop. Since I have that in ATF jail, I also picked up a silencerco threaded barrel for my glock 19 to use with it, and the 1/2x28 piston to make that work.

But, I really wanted to get a new .45 Host to use with it when it gets approved, so I ordered a new FN FNX-45 tactical in FDE, along with a Trijicon RMR (dual illuminated, green triangle model) to go with it. That should make for a very sweet setup.

Hoping the FNX is here this week. It comes with 3 15rd magazines, but I will probably pick up a couple more to have as spares also.

Pretty much the same gun. For some strange reason there are weird import laws with certain size guns. Those particular models had to be made and distributed here in America.

I dont know exactly why.

Mine is made in Austria

As I understand it, the US plant is a low production plant made primarily for Glocks to be exported from the US, but some are sold domestically. All models as far as I know are also made in Austria, and also sold here. I own both, but I find that the finish is just a bit better on the Austrian glocks than my USA made glocks. The tennifer finish on the glocks has a different process for the US - the classic application uses a lot of cyanide and is frowned upon by the EPA, so they had to change it a bit for USA made glocks.

I've had something similar happen to me at an indoor range when three girls who never shot before decided to do it for a laugh.

Specs wise? Nothing.

Some gun owners such as myself refer Glocks that made in Austria (the original place) just as some car owners refer cars that made Germany (BMW), Japan (Lexus), etc.

Mostly nothing. There are minor differences in the finish quality, but it is minor.

Well, it arrived today -

Now I have something to shoot to keep my mind off of the wait for the Ti-Rant 45M suppressor that was ordered to go with this.
