I'm enjoying sitting back and watching all the weapons I bought double/triple in value since I bought them. It's absolutely insane. Glad I stocked up on ammo...should be able to shoot for quite a while 🙂.

If no bans go through, the value will drop right back down.

Not necessarily. C&Rs that can't be made anymore will continue to accumulate in value. 2nd hand market will rule then and that's unfortunate as surplus firearms are freaking awesome.

he's talking about firearms that people are rushing out to buy now in case of a ban, like AR-15s

I can't recall anything I've seen of his that wasn't technically legal for civilian ownership. You just gotta have money, time, and fill out paperwork. I'm pretty sure he mentioned this in one of his semi-recent videos.

I'll admit I do not watch, but which guns would be illegal for civilian ownership? I can't recall many guns or platforms that I have not been able to get my hands on privately for some fun except maybe a minigun. And that would be due to availability and cost, not due to any sort of law.

Dang near everything he shoots is illegal for civilian ownership. Almost everything he shoots has full auto capability. While civilians can get full auto guns they must be pre-1986. Most of what he shoots is new.

I disagree that "almost everything he shoots has full auto capability". Not even close.

Regardless, full auto firearms are not illegal for civilians to own, just like I said.

I hate AR-15s and don't own them.

In my original post I'm saying my firearms are doubling/tripling in firearms right now and are not AR-15s.

Specifically this: http://db.tt/IQFu2Zta

Umm, the ban would include that one you have linked in the image. AR's, AK's, and so much more. That is why the price is double/triple on those because everyone is in a panic buy mode just in case there is a ban. Hell Ruger10/22 and those $100 Moisin's are now at ridiculous prices because of the proposed ban legislation. If the ban doesn't go through, the price will go right back down though.

Boomhower was right - made before 86 or whatever. And then the state mist allow it. Or you must get a class...3(?) FFL.

They were double prior to this whole fiasco due to the fact that they don't make these anymore. Unless they start making these again I really doubt they will go down in price.

Just like RC K98s...I doubt we will see them below $300 EVER again. Remember when M44s were $39? They've been $200 since 2010-11ish.

Not as sexy as guns, but my battlemags got delivered today. 🙂 I'd say the one on the lower right is best representative of the color. It's a much darker green than most of the picture makes it out to be, not nearly as much yellow. I approve. 😎

Any realistic magazine ban can officially suck it.

Just field stripped/cleaned my new Kahr PM9 for the first time. Mother fucker is that a stiff slide/pain in the ass to take apart brand new. If this doesn't loosen up, my hands are going to be shredded.

How are you taking it apart? Shouldn't be that hard hooking your thumb into the trigger guard and pushing the slide back with your palm to push out the slide pin. Don't forget to break it in with 500 rounds and make sure to put at least a hudnred rounds of your SD ammo through it.

Side note: between my kahr P9 and PM9, i much prefer my P9. Just easier to shoot and draw. Albiet a little bulkier to carry.

I'm not even sure what I did in retrospect. I'm just glad it's done. Going to the range tomorrow to throw some rounds through it. Just wish my damn .308 ammo would get here already. Wanted to take my m14 to the range, but no ammo.

Don't handle a Dan Wesson CCO with it's 23lb main spring. That thing is stiff...

Almost every video of his I've watched has had a full auto gun in it. With few exceptions they are new or close to it and those aren't legal for you or me to own. We can only have the old stuff.

If you were in Oregon I could hook you up with tons of 308. I have some listed in the local paper but I have not been able to get rid of all of it yet, even with the current shortage. Might be editing up with someone to sell some of the last 12 battle packs I have of that stuff.

my dad went to a local shop today. picked up 2 cases of 9mm i think it was remington for $155 each (1 for me). also got me a case of UMC .45 for $235, bought himself 2 cases of .380 for $200 something ( don't remember exact price. I have a .380 but don't shoot often. might buy a few boxes from him). I think he might have bought some .40 also but don't know the price (i don't have a .40)
By "case", do you mean the 500 round bulk packs?

PSA has Blazer 9mm in stock right now. I ordered 2000 rounds.

Checked local stores today and everyone was dry on 9mm, .223/5.56 and 7.62x39.

I was slightly distracted by some HDTVs at Best Buy. Grabbed two brand new 50" plasmas for $350 each (plus $10 back in RZ certificates).

Where in oregon and how much? I might be interested in some if its a decent price. ill be in the Portland area this weekend though.

I finaly got the call that my SilencerCo Spectre II's tax stamp came in! Picked it up last night and going to shoot it in about an hour at the range. THough i dont have subsonic specific ammo so hopes are a bit low on the rifle but should be just fine on the pistol. Its smaller than i thought it would be for some reason. Anyways pictures!

Here it is on the Sig Mosquito

Built in mag-pull. It's also made of a more flexible plastic so it's not damaged when dropped. The bag on the right has traditional flat floor-plates I can change out, but I like the bumpers for now. 🙂
I tried normal magpuls, but they raise the gun higher, wobble and unpredictably hinder movement in any situation where you want to use the magazine as support. And that's a lot of the time. Thus magpuls are, at least for me, completely useless. The battlemag design looks like it probably has the same problems. Ranger plates, on the other hand, are much more stable to shoot off of than a bare mag, do not raise the gun higher, and also make movement more predictable because they round out the shape of the magazine. I put them on all my mags which were compatible.
