Ugh, since I've been doing far more research on the firearms out there, I've fallen in love with way too many firearms I want to have. Stupid youtube and review videos. Worst part is that the vast majority of what I am interested are those flying off the shelves right now.
 
Got the night sights I got for my birthday installed on my M&P Shield 9mm today, much better than the stock sights. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.

Wal mart had 100rd bulk packs of 9mm this evening too, cleaned them out of it before anyone else could.

The guy that works the sporting goods counter is a customer of my companies and we trade reloading data all the time. They have the same limits here, that he conveniently forgets when I'm buying 😉

I put those sights on my glock before I gave it to my bro - with the yellow circle. Not a fan of the rounded back sight picture, but overall I LOVED those sights. Good stuff!
 
It was a pretty good day, scored 9 30-round AK mags and about 5 cases of ammo at pre-panic prices.

don't watch FPSRussia. damn that dude has a ton of fun. i can't imagine how much money he drops on all of his firearms (or maybe he just borrows them?). still, he has access to a hell of a lot of machinery.

Can we all go back to pre-scare pistol cal prices please? I shot 200 rounds of 9MM re-loads for $40 last night instead of the usual $26 for that dirty stuff......

No he's not. His producer is dead, the guy in the videos is perfectly fine. Also there is no way those are his guns, he would have to be a multi millionaire to have that many full autos and some are downright illegal for civilian ownership.

That might be true but i dont know. I know in one of his videos he does advertisement for another gun shop who said if he got like 10k views (early video) he would let him shoot any gun on the wall with ammo. Doesnt seem like something you would do if your parents had a store too.

But no if you watch his earlier videos he usually says or hints at whose guns they are. Most are not his Im sure quite a few are though, like his Remington 700, ak47, ar or two but anything full auto isnt.



either way today is a good day from the ATF for me....will post more probably tomorrow morning 🙂
 
I want to get one of those Valkyrie Arms modified belt fed Colt 6920 AR15's..... Those things are so drool worthy. Just don't have the $4K to pony up right now for one because of other things I got to keep in reserve.

I'll admit I do not watch, but which guns would be illegal for civilian ownership? I can't recall many guns or platforms that I have not been able to get my hands on privately for some fun except maybe a minigun. And that would be due to availability and cost, not due to any sort of law.

I can't recall anything I've seen of his that wasn't technically legal for civilian ownership. You just gotta have money, time, and fill out paperwork. I'm pretty sure he mentioned this in one of his semi-recent videos.

cmp is probably the best value.

i got mine from cmp - 2nd to lowest grade (service, i think?). anyway, it had a brand new (new production) stock but the metal is almost perfect. had great bore too.


my dad went to a local shop today. picked up 2 cases of 9mm i think it was remington for $155 each (1 for me). also got me a case of UMC .45 for $235, bought himself 2 cases of .380 for $200 something ( don't remember exact price. I have a .380 but don't shoot often. might buy a few boxes from him). I think he might have bought some .40 also but don't know the price (i don't have a .40)

I'm enjoying sitting back and watching all the weapons I bought double/triple in value since I bought them. It's absolutely insane. Glad I stocked up on ammo...should be able to shoot for quite a while 🙂.

Damn...wish I could just find a few boxes of 9mm and .45, guess we have more gun nuts in Texas😛
