Wait, so karma pays a visit and you help her clean up.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahah
I really hope you're only helping because you're a good person and won't abandon people who need help in their time of need and not because you still think you can be happy with her.
As cold-hearted as it is, what she went through is a direct result of her own actions. The smartest action was for you to cut off contact before, and this changes nothing. She's still the same untrustworthy person with bad judgement she always was, except now she has a few bumps to prove it.
You've been through the chases and the bf storming into places looking for her. Guaranteed there have been many other violent incidents which you never knew about. Yet, she continues to invite this douche into her life, even lying to you and leaving you so that she could have him. Whatever her problem is, it's not fixed yet. 50/50 that she will let him back into her life. Even if this was the wake up call she needed, she won't be ready for a real relationship till many months of being alone.

You are 100% right yowolabi. I told her she has no one but herself to blame for it. I brought up how 4 days earlier i told her she doesn't need him as a friend and he shouldn't go to her bday part next week, she said "i don't know what the big deal is." SHe didn't deserve this, but she brought it on herself.
The restraining order is for 30 days and end of this month she goes to court to make it 3 years. Hopefully she is serious about it and won't null the order a few months from now just to see him.
I made sure she was ok, i helped her witht he court house to make sure she got it and sucks to be alone there, now she is on her own.

She ended up grabbing a knife and threatning for him to leave and he walked into it and stabbed himself.

You are letting yourself get used. She knows she has you wrapped around her finger.
I guess you will learn the hard way with this one.

I'll have to remember that for the future. Gee, officer, he just kinda, umm, walked into the knife 10 - 12 times. Must have been an uncoordinated fellow.
