Haha, I need to try this.

Worst date ever!

Don't ever settle for lunch, you need to be the night date.

Lunch=friendship

That's why I'm thinking I should ask her if she wants to go out for ice cream or a movie later that night. Do you think that's too soon since I just did something with her earlier that day?

Depends on:

- Girl's interest in you
- How well the lunch date when
- {Insert one of over a million different other variables here}

Point is, how the hell are we supposed to know? Quit worrying and go with the flow.

A lunch date does not mean friendship only. You've already been sitting with this girl in your Physics class so you are already acquainted with her. If she didn't want to be more friendly with you then she probably wouldn't have taken you up on your lunch offer.

Just stop worrying about everything. Go to lunch with her. Be yourself. Let things go from there.

I asked a girl in one of my classes if she wanted to go to the library to work calculus problems with me, you should have seen the look on her face when she turned me down, bad day for my chances of getting laid from any woman in that class, got into a discussion with the prof about Maple versus Mathematica.

should have tried to get her to pay at the same time you brought up lunch. but if you can, get her to pay. otherwise pay separate.

I like her, but I'm not really sure how she feels about me; Some girls will say sure to a lunch, but only said that cause they don't want to be "mean".
If she had zero interest she wouldn't say no to lunch. Don't be so hard on yourself.
I'll see how it goes and insist on paying for lunch.
Don't insist too hard.

GHB must be your best friend. Well, besides your hand that is.

Movie or Ice-Cream???? Have you lost your mind.

Take her to a bar and get her loaded. Plying women with alcohol will increase your chances of getting laid.

Damn young'uns!

Been there a million times.

1. Offer to pay the bill. if she says yes, it doesn't mean you're going to get laid. If she says no, it doesn't mean that you're not going to get laid.
2. Be a listener, not a wait to talker. Ask leading questions, LISTEN to what she says and have follow ups that show that you're really listening
3. Show a genuine interest in her life. If she wants to talk about music, talk about music. If she wants to talk about shoes, tell her that you don't care about shoes but ask her if you'd like to go for a walk.
4. 2nd date should be based on the conversation. For example, if she's talking about how she loves art - at the end, mention that you should go to a museum sometime. But don't set an actual date, just start the conversation
5. You're meeting for lunch. You're probably not going to get laid. so save that for drinks on friday night ;)

Try to pay for her lunch. If she insists to pay for her own lunch then your future with her doesn't look very good.

Edit: I take this back. It's too early for anything to mean anything.

Don't go to a place that's too noisy.. she might be saying something and unable to hear a word, you might go like Lil Jon "WHAT!!!".

start with "how was your day" and with whatever response, ask more questions related to it. Actually... thats kind of how i start every conversation...

Actually a lunch date is a non-threatening way to get a chance to spend some time with a girl you do not know very well. Nothing wrong with them. If after the lunch date you cannot secure an evening date then that tells you what you need to know.
