Nice video! I'm happy that Dodge/Chrysler is really shaking things up in the sports compact segment. I hope that it makes the other manufacturers get off their feet and start bringing out some great products.

Because compared to this, the Sentra SE-R, Civic SiR, and SVT Focus are just garbage. Does the SRT-4 have the ACR style handling that the first gen Neon ACR had?

hehe those guys have funny accents and enjoy saying "damnn"

WRX doesn't have very long legs, as is shown by rather low trap speeds in the 1/4.

Dodge really went for the throat with the SRT-4.

What the hell is a Talon? I heard Eagle makes it... So who the hell is Eagle?!?!?! All I know is that it's AWD.. Anything else?

Eagle folded in ~1998. Div of Chrysler I believe. Mom has a '97 Talon EX. The TSI was the AWD Turbo. And yes, it's modeled after the Eclipse.

AWD = lots of rotating mass.... reason my truck blows past a stock Gen 2 Lightning at the 60ft mark, but runs an equal ET with a -6mph difference

Yep. Great for launches, but becomes parasitic after that (at least in a straight line).

Yep, one of those things where it's a right tool for the right job kinda thing 😉

I remember seeing that the Neon is going to go off the market probably within 2 years. Then Mitsubishi is going to produce a replacement which will be similar (or identical) to the Lancer...

That would be mental... the SX2.0 is selling well. and the SRT-4 they cant make enough for demand.. for it's price, the SRT-4 is pure domination!!!

the srt-4 would be a fun drive, esp with factory turbo upgrades and such. tho that's a lot of power (too much?) for a fwd car.

and wrx arent that fast (except out of the hole).
