Why does everyone say that the integras are high to insure. I thought it was because it was a popular car for thieves. But it seems like I see the accord on the top of the thieves list too.

You should be able to get a pretty nice mid 90s Camry in your price range. I really like my 92. I know the entire history on the car and that history is pretty boring, as in "oil change, oil change, oil change...". The best part is most people have the exact same experience that I have had with mine. My 92 is easily more reliable than my g/f's 02 Jetta or her old 98 Cavalier (I cringe to compare the Camry and the Cavalier).
The 'tegra only comes with a 4-cyl...Originally posted by: AgaBooga

The accord should be fine in terms of theft unless you go and get expensive rims a 10 foot spoiler, etc. The integra shouldn't be that bad if you get a 4 cylinder, my 16 year old friend has a 93 or 94 integra 4 cylinder and his rates aren't too bad, I don't remember how much exactly.

You can buy a '99 Maxima for the price of a '92-'95 Civic.

Budget kinda depends on how long I want to finance for and what the insurance will cost. I already called the insuance company about adding a '97 Nissan 200SX SE-R with full coverage to my policy and he said that would cause it to increase about 45 bucks a month. I think total insurance plus car payment needs to be around or under 200.00 dollars. SO I fgure if I finance for 3 years I think 5500 would be my max budget, but if I extend financing to 4 years I can go up to 6500. Maybe 7000.00 max if I can come up with some more down payment money.

Did you put 84K on that car or is that the total miles on it? I wasn't sure by the way you said it. I would consider that car, but its at the middle to bottom part of my list. The gas mileage is pretty dang good on it, but I'm not sure I like that color blue. It could be the light shining on it though cause the back looks nice. Whats up with those rims, they seem dark? Is it the lighting or are they dirty, they don't look dirty. Or are they supposed to look like that? Decent pric eon it though, so i will keep it in mind. Thanks
