What in your life ever turned you into such a callous piece of shit?
I have been wondering that myself! He is the same way in other threads! It is almost as if this is an act and he are being played! But for somebody to be such a callous piece of shit as ,long as glenn1 I would hav to think that possibly it is because this is the internet and you can be anything you want to be on the internet! I would bet you that in real life, one on one eh was be a stammering piece of shit!! This is just my opinion and perhaps the opinion od a lot of other people....

I was surprised that it is a thing where they live in Mexico and then attend school in California. I would think that this shouldn't be allowed and only adds to the danger of these small kids crossing the border on their own unaccompanied by an adult.

Yes, of course I'm sure that someone honestly worried for the safety of small children crossing a border on a daily basis would equally be worried about their safety when an advanced nation violating their own laws and international law when caging them with other strangers for indeterminate sentences.

....oh shit, my bad. I confused you for an honest person. I'm not making that mistake again!

as long as only some Americans retain all of their rights while a select few others can have certain ones removed on the spot for extrajudicial reasons, right?

I think that was in article 5 of the 27th Amendment, or something.

Nah its in the 2nd Amendment, you clearly haven't actually read it you unPatriotic traitor! It clearly says, "guns, FUUUUHHHHHHHHHCKK YOU!, you must say God, Christians only ok, no gays, rape is sooooo goood, women stick to the kitchen, blacks were better as slaves, abortion abortion ABORTION no no no its science!, women are just fuckholes and deserve no rights except accusing minorities of rape so we can murder them, no <insert various slurs for blacks, Mexicans, Arabs unless they're our property or doing the shit jobs we don't want and even then still fuck them, wage war, the rich deserve more money and rights, oh and no boycotts of Israel"

Nice insult and a dodge all in one.

Would you allow your small children to cross the border alone for any reason? I would not.

Do you think it is OK for residents of Mexico to send their children across the border for school?

I do agree that it is screwed up that she was in custody for 32 hours. Kind of sketchy on the details if someone was trying to get her released or not. Or could they not get in touch with her family or ...

It was never an issue pre-Trump. Parents would escort their kids, and then pick them up later. Like it's done all over the country. The kids are American citizens, and borders are just lines on a map. School district zones too.

Which brings up another issue. I wonder if Trump is going to try to seize an international border. His magical wall, kill off hundreds of farmers that use the Rio Grande to water their animals and irrigate their crops.

Or is he going to be stupid enough to try to build it in the middle of a river, or just steal the whole damn thing?

They may be American Citizens, but that doesn't make it right they are attending school in the US while living in Mexico.

The borders are just lines on a map. Got it...

Why the hell not?

Ever hear of school districts etc. You pay taxes in your district that you LIVE in to support the schools in that district. They not only don't live in the district they don't even live in the country.

I doubt they are paying school taxes in the district.

Your speaking out of ignorance......read the article I posted! Most of these children have student visas...….and what in tarnation makes it wrong for them to attends school while living in Mexico??
It`s obvious that you know little ,to nothing about these so called --
The border that divides Calexico in California and Mexicali in Mexico has for generations been more of a marker than a barrier.

In some ways, Calexico — a dusty, mostly Latino desert city of 40,000 — is today a suburb of Mexicali, which has become an industrial powerhouse and now has a population of around 700,000.

People have family on both sides. Calexico recently built an outlet mall next to the border fence to draw Mexican shoppers. And Mexicali has long drawn Calexicans to its nightlife, Chinese restaurants and cheaper medical care.

No, I read the article. Where I have lived in the past and present the school gets its money from the taxes collected in that school district. Around here you can get into some trouble for sending your kids to school out of district by lying about their residency.

I'm pretty sure these parents are not paying the taxes that are supporting those schools. Other people are. Maybe they have some special agreement. I don't know, nobody has said what that situation is/was.

Evidently nobody is worried about such a little things as paying taxes and such unless as the article says = In some ways, Calexico — a dusty, mostly Latino desert city of 40,000 — is today a suburb of Mexicali, which has become an industrial powerhouse and now has a population of around 700,000.

Which could exp-lain alot as far as that goes what with people having families in both cities and such!
So I seriously doubt anybody is lying about their residency and other nonesense!

You dont "think"? It would be nice to "know" before passing out judgement dont you think? Even if they dont, is it against the law?
Anyway. What do you think its worth in terms of foreign relations diplomacy and propagating the American way of life?

The sad thing is that he wasn't born this way, he learned it. Think about the shitty parents and the fucked up childhood you would have to have that would drive you to be such a heartless being. Think about the people who influenced him, the family and friends who he learned from and their own horrible beliefs. Events that tear at the heart of a good person are fodder for what passes for conservative humor, especially if they involve the people they hate. The cruel asshole you are asking the question of consistently posts crap that most people would be embarrassed to admit to writing, as do several others here. They are proud of what they say and there is no shaming them for they have no shame.

There's no cruelty worse in our world than that of a conservative person.

I think that they think that they project some kind of masculinity, what a real man looks and talks like, and that that is in direct opposition of the sissy-pant agenda of "todays left".
Guess its nice to feel superior?
Guess that is why the fascist agenda of Tumpf is such an easy fit for them.
They are already superior men.
What is a little more superior on top.
Feels good.
Finally I AM someone.

Of course the ultimate test of masculinity is to drop all guards and let the chips fall where they may. But that takes courage. And these real mean are cowards.

Glenn1 has always been this way. He doesn’t support healthcare for all either. He just asks that the poors be polite enough to die where he doesn’t have to gaze upon their bloated corpses.

Is this really any worse than kids who ride the subway in NYC to get to school?

American kids going to American schools sounds just fine to me. Do you disagree for some reason?

In California, schools haven't been paid for by "school taxes" for decades. Property taxes are frozen and never rise in between sales. Google "Prop 13. Where you live isn't tied to where you go to school. Especially in light of the current homeless situation.

On June 6th, 1978, nearly two-thirds of California's voters passed Proposition 13, reducing property tax rates on homes, businesses and farms by about 57%. The Environment Prior to Proposition 13. Prior to Proposition 13, the property tax rate throughout California averaged a little less than 3% of market value.

Now that pcgeek has diverted into some ridiculous rationalization based on school taxes, I think we need to bring the focus back to where it needs to be: on the obscene, disgraceful conduct on the part of the Border Patrol. A nine year old child was kidnapped by these fascist fucks and they need to be held accountable.

So what? That's immaterial to the way CBP treated this 9 year old girl & her family. It's shameless whataboutism.

Also, in a similar vein, if you executed someone you proved to be guilty, you would be a first degree murderer. However, if the govt does it, after given permission by the court, its called "justice".

So are you saying that locking up "criminals" in jail is really kidnapping?
