plenty of people drink coffee and tea unsweetened.

just give up.

Beer is not bitter. Hops, some roasted grain, etc. can be bitter. The degree to which these components are present ultimately determines how bitter the beer will be. Some styles are supposed to be bitter: IPA and ESB are the obvious examples.

Try some different beer before drawing conclusions. If you don't like the bitterness then simply stay away from the hoppy or the malts with roasted grain (i.e. don't drink a stout). I drink primarily Belgian ales, and I don't detect a hint of bitterness in any of the styles (except for perhaps the Saison style as it tends to be hoppier). Belgian Strong Ales are particularly flavorful, and no real hint of bitterness, imo.

Also, tea and coffee aren't inherently bitter either. Tea is only bitter if prepared improperly, and some high-grade teas never get bitter (e.g. Monkey Picked Oolong). Coffee is only bitter if overroasted and prepared improperly as well.

please stop talking like a teenage girl. So is it "like bitter", or does it taste bitter? or is it <twirling your hair> like bitter! teehee</twirling your hair>

Also, I like my coffee black, tea unsweetened. Its just an acquired taste

what did you drink? Naty? lol cuz that stuff is junk
even then, I think any of the mass-marketed junk like Bud, Miller, Coors... that is not quality.. now, I cannot say much beyond that because I have yet to really branch out from those types, I have not had any dark beers, the light and highly-carbonated stuff is really all I've had.

It's a developed taste. Just because you don't like the taste doesn't mean others don't also. I didn't like beer at first, but now I love it. I also drink my coffee and tea unsweetened. I eat sushi and veggies. My point is that everyone is different. If you have to ask why people like certain things because you dontt, it just means you're an idiot. There's always at least two sides to everything.

I have never tasted a green tea that did not have at least a hint of bitterness, or at least a taste that can be interpreted as bitterness (taste often associated with base, don't know the word in english.. soapy?) And I have tried a lot of teas because my grandfather is very particular about tea.

I can't imagine coffee not being bitter either though but my experience with it is extremely limited.
