Yes, it has to have a decent aroma for me to eat it. Smell is an important part of taste.

Maybe if I spell it out for you, you'll actually answer the question... even if it looks like an insect but has a decent aroma, you'll eat it? If tarantulas were cooked with some groovy sauce, you'll eat it? If the answer is no, I don't know why you bothered with the smell response. If the answer is yes, you have no place claiming anything is nasty.

It actually doesn't smell bad contrary to what goes into making it. It does, however, look funny but it tastes great. Also, it makes orange juice bitter instead of sweet.

its gross but i can handle it. taste is a bit strong eating directly, but as a flavoring agent for congee or whatever it can be decent.

I don't think it smells like sulfer at all. And it doesn't permeate the air like actual sulfur. If you smelled it up close and had to assign it a smell, then yes, sulfur might be a description. It smells nothing like that tho, in my opinion. Now that you've knocked it, you ought to give it a try You have a week to respond! (After tasting it of course).
