Like all high end boards there will always be overclocking issues, issues at stock speeds are always a lot less but we all tend to forget this as we all overclock.
I for one WOULD buy the iCFX, I don't run superpi for a living and as such would probably never see it being a little slower than a 975. Games do pretty well though and it overclocks Kents real well due to in bios GTL ref voltage tweaking...so for me it is actually a worthy buy.
