Not really. However, it appears in the OurColony video that they are playing Halo2 and some racing game from XBOX on the new 360.

Why do older xbox games being compatible matter?

Current rumour is that Halo 2.5 will come packaged with the Xbox360. Guess we'll just have to be patient and wait and see.

Yes, but when I bought my PS2, it was a good thing to be able to pop it GT1, GT2, MGS into my ps2 and play them on the new console, even with minor enhancements. It's not critical, but it defenitely wins it some favorable points when you have a collection of nice games from the previous console, and you don't want to keep both of them.

Mrsskoorb already said no about this, but after watching that video the hype is taking control of me. Liquid cooled CPU is just too sweet. I may have to butter her up, even though I have zero time for video games these days. Just to own one...

I've decided to go ahead and put money from the bucket of money I put aside every paycheck for personal use toward this. Went ahead and pre-ordered two from EB Games today.

There no way you could sell 3 core 3ghz PPC box for 300 bucks. The processor alone is worth more. Look at the speeds on apples pcs - that's the top of the line of IBM ppc chips.

Console manufacturers have always taken a loss on console sales. One of the advantages to console gaming is getting more for your money at the time of purchase.

I don't think you understand - go to apple.com and look at the specs of the 4K powerpc system. It's not even 3ghz.

Quite honstly it's not possible to sell something that fast for that cheap. The box with those specs would cost 1g+

because its custom by apple and plus i dont think microsoft would lie
