The best thing about doomsday predictions is always the day after the predicted date. There usually isn't a lot of talk about it, maybe an article here or a bumped thread there, and sometimes there's transparent backpedaling like in the post above, but there is never any shortage of schadenfreude.

The world is a dangerous place, but if it were really so fragile don't you think it would have imploded before now?

Be advised that if World War III starts in the next two days, every one of us is fully prepared to blame you and your furniture.

Although personally I suspect the author's remote viewing fogged up and what he thought was World War III is merely Black Friday at Walmart. Easy mistake, that.
