As I was walking to the coin changer three 12-13 year old girls and a 9 year old blocked the way and started taking pictures of each other while flashing what I guess were gang signs.

I finally said excuse me and changed a couple bucks. As I walked away I heard 'Fuck you, boy' and then 'yeah you better keep walking'...at that I turned and asked If they wanted to say something to me..they flashed the same signs and one said 'fuck you man'...so I went off then I was told I couldn't talk to them that way as one was just 'a 9 year old child, a baby' and they were going to get the cops.

Sure enough they come back with the police. I told them what happened as the girls were mouthing off in the background. They were thrown out.

I don't know how the hell a bunch of kids are at a mall at almost midnight when no living places within walking distance are around.

Because going off on a bunch of pre-teens is such a great thing to do, right? If they were talking shit to me I would've brushed it off. They're kids for crying out loud. I'd chalk it up with them being idiots like all the rest of the kids their age. Not "go off" on them and feel like a big man afterwards so I could brag on a messageboard on how I did such a great service for the community. In the absolute worst case scenario, talk to mall security.

Sorry, I am a man I don't cower from confrontation especially if it's kids which can learn to become more and more stupid and raise the bar the more they get away with something. I don't ignore anyone causing problems that could be scary for others..nor do I find the need to go and hunt down 'mall security' (who more than likely will be a similar teen) to fight my battles. If it's a true problem I am calling a cop, not a rented one.

I am sorry you live such an unfulfilling life that you think one telling their story is bragging. I seriously don't understand how you could have interpreted anything I said there as that...that's pretty pathetic.
