But the simple fact of the matter is that when I was 14 years old, I did stupid sh!t like every other 14 year old. One night we rounded up traffic cones from all over town and put them across my friend's driveway.

Being judgemental over juvenile crap someone did as a kid is pretty silly - kids to stupid things without thinking. It's part of growing up.

When one of your children gets in trouble for pulling some stupid juvenile prank, are you going to continue to hold it over his head 15 years later?

ive never been one to carve pumpkins for halloween, so if someone chose to smash my pumpkin i really wouldnt care. as for the water balloons - im assuming that the car would be travelling ~10mph so that the toss would be accurate. at that speed, it seems harmless. i do, however, agree that throwing a water balloon from a car going 25-30 mph could be very dangerous...
