Hey I'll reply before I get the ban (1st for me).
Here it goes: last year LeAnn made this big stink in Nashville about "its the music she really cares about." Someone had written in the Nashville Report (local music trade rag) that she was some music exec's prepubescent fantasy girl.
She told everyone that she could be ugly and she wouldn't care what she looked like, just as long as people considered her talents as an artist. You see (maybe you don't because you are not from there), its one thing to ride your looks to stardom - I don't mind (Racquel Welch did it, and I still thinks she's a hottie). But when someone preaches at the tops of their lungs about pay attention to me the artist, and they fall from the radar, and so they pose to get attention. Its called hypocrisy. And in my opinion, which I am entitled to, that's trash, too.
You want country singers that get attention with their talent? Try Shelby Lynne (although she gave up Nashville to go to Austin -you lucky b@stards), Matracia Berg, Deborah Allen, the list goes on...
Oh, also Emmylou Harris - who I have the extreme hots for. Also, I would really, really, *really* want to have carnal knowledge of Shelby Lynne. So no, I'm not gay. I just want so much for people to look upon the Appalachians as something more than inbred hillbillies. The stereotyping is suck. And it hurts the cause when something like this happens.
