Shame they didn't kill off the whole show. Its been really bad the past few seasons. There's been some ridiculously awful episodes that seem to be just about seeing how bad of an episode they can make.

Plus its not like this even matters, its not like they give a shit about canon or anything so he'll probably come back whenever they feel like it. This is just comes off as a big ploy to get people to watch the show again.

why "should" they kill the show off if people continue to watch it? if you don't like it simply don't watch it.

I don't think I watched more than 1 or 2 episodes last season. I was off a week and watched 2 episodes on demand last week from this season. It's still entertaining.

On the whole Brian dying thing, meh. Stewie could time travel and bring him back somehow any time. Since Set does half the voices on the show, including Brian, it's not like a major voice actor is leaving.

You need to watch the episode. Stewie destroyed his time machine and when he went to build it the Arab bazaar that he goes to didn't have the titanium capacitor he needed.

Stewie blows up his time machine(s) all the time. Even if his death is permanent, the change might be worth it. The show's been on forever at this point.

I'll definitely watch it over the weekend.

This is what happens when they don't make god damn TITANIUM CAPACITORS ANYMORE!

This is one of the top four most true things I have ever read on the internet. Period.

I think it must be one of the saddest moments in television, not just dog death.

Everybody always brings up that episode, and I just don't get it. It constantly gets rated as one of the best Futurama episodes ever but I don't care for it.

I like how anytime there's news on a TV show, 1/2 the replies are from people that need to tell other people how they don't like the show.

this is still going on and i haven't seen anyone say the right thing yet:colbert:

the issue isn't brian, but they effectively killed stewie, the best character of the show.
Brian is the character stewie bounces off of, without one there cannot be the other; unless you are ok with the fist-shaking stewie who fights his brother at the playground, but the more sarcastic stewie is gone.

imho, mistake. but hey, its their show and they can do whatever they want, it doesn't shock me tbh - for all i'm concerned, they can go ahead and kill off homer and bart simpson as well, it's not like i take the show seriously anyway.

oh and cleveland show is cancelled.

People laugh at other's dogs dying here yet some cartoon dog dies and we have members practically in tears.

wow just wow.

It is amazing to me that during Sweeps we used to get hookups that were unforeseen but this year the trend is Death of major character.
See:
Mentalist
Breaking Bad
Walking Dead
Covert Affairs
Family Guy
Person of Interest
Sons of Anarchy
and so on and so forth.

Pretty sure I explained why I thought they should kill off the show so if you're having trouble reading I'm sure we can find some way to get you help with that.

ah, because you personally don't like it yet millions of other people do and continue to watch it, they should kill it.

great logic you got there. but continue to post in a thread about a tv show you don't like.
