One thing McBride said he won't be Saturday night (Showtime PPV, $44.95) is intimidated.

"I'm bigger, and I'm stronger," said McBride, who weighed in at 271 pounds to Tyson's 233 on Thursday. "I've trained hard for this fight. I worked with a strength and conditioning coach for the first time, and I've been bench-pressing 265 pounds. I feel as strong as an ox. I have a hypnotist on board who's got me mentally focused, so there's no way I'm going to be intimidated. I'm confident that when Tyson sees me in the ring, he's going to be intimidated by me."

Yeah, I'm sure Tyson is going to be afraid of a 6'6 hypnotized Irishman only benching 265lbs.

No kidding, especially if Tyson needs 3 wins to secure a shot at the title again...

If he's doing sets of 10 with that, it's a little less pathetic, but yeah... that's not great.

Hell, I'm 6' 205 and I do sets of 8 with 275-285.

no, weight 271 and only being able to bench 265 10 times is pathetic heh. anyone who's been lifting for a while and is in shape should EASILY be able to bench their own body weight 10 times.

LOL, interestingly I benched 265 for the first time a year ago, but my body is pathetic even to fight the likes of that burn out Tyson.

265Kilos is pretty respectable.
He said lbs. I've not seen a picture of him, but it's very possible he meant kilos, which would be nicely over 500 lbs and is indeed quite powerful.

QFT. easily is the key word. 10 reps with 30-50 lbs more, I consider "fit".

265Kilos would put him up for Strong Man compeitions and professional weight lifting crud, because thats well over 550lbs.

That said, I was able to bench 245 for my final max after starting at 165 3 months prior. I weigh 215 at a mere 5 foot 7, making me a fat azz.
