Wow Paypal lets you reverse payments?

I had no idea that Paypal let buyers reverse a payment.
I sold an item for 400 dollars to a person and he reversed it and now I'm at negative funds. Now, I have to fight him with proof of an AIM log, but for now I can't do anything since im at -310 dollars.

Update 1: I talked with a Paypal rep (all of them are morons) and he said that the owner of the paypal account claimed that his account was stolen and used.
I asked the rep if the money ever left his account (to prove that his account WAS stolen) and he said that he could not reveal anything.

I have informed IC3.gov about this filled the AIM log and how the owner of the Paypal account (E-Mailed his paypal account E-Mail) has not responded to my E-Mail yet and it has been almost 12 hours (I would assume that someone who had "just lost his account" would have checked his account sometime between 10:00 AM PST - 8:00 PM PST).

Now to see what the IC3 does...

Paypal is scam central, I stopped taking it as a form of payment altogether. Basically, you have very very little recourse when things go wrong......

I'm noticing that. From now on, I'm thinking of only shipping the item after I get hard cash or a money order in the mail.

Do you have proof of shipment and delivery? File a fraud claim in the resolution center. Call up Paypal and speak to a live person.

The seller is always in the wrong, even with proof. I've never won any kind of dispute with them even when I presented more than enough evidence that showed what happened.

I haven't even shipped it yet - He filed it this morning looking at the email time that I received from paypal. I finished talking with him earlier this morning at like 12:30 AM and received the money at around that time.

I woke up this morning to find out that this guy scammed me

Did you talk with a live rep? Or did you talk with an e-mail rep?

Basically, it's a 2 part thing. I was selling a WoW account (Blizzard lets you do it if you include all the CDs, manuals, etc.). I gave him the account information last night and was going to send the physical items today.

Considering the personal question that you setup when you do the account can't be changed, I highly suggest contacting Blizzard and getting the account back.

Had a feeling this was WoW related. Did you use a trusted site and did the buyer have good feedback?

Has he already changed the Email associated with the account? If so, you're pretty much screwed.

Yes - Looks like I might have to talk with a district attorney if I can't sort this out with him
