I've been fighting with myself on which game to get; EQ2 or WoW. A friend of mine is playing EQ2 and he loves it, but he was addicted to EQ so he's kinda partial to it. I never played EQ but I've played FFXI and liked it, even though I felt that it was kind of slow at times. I'm gonna have to read some reviews on the two games before I decide.

that sounds like a good idea :) too bad my woman has a 4 year old ibook for a computer :(

:D We really ahven't been spending enoug htime together. I figure me getting the collectors and then giving her the trial pass and then paying monthly is a better deal then just buying 2 regular copies. Maybe I'll do that today. :)

FallenHero plays it non-stop. I dont think he's visited the forums in a while.

This is a first in awhile...I must admit. I already paid for 6 months. :)

I've been thinking of doing likewise so my woman won't complain about us not spending enough quality time together.

unfortunately, my woman cant stand any kind of stress in a computer game. coul be interesting to see if shed be willing to play htough. i would probably have to pay for sure though, and 26 dollars a month for a game does not sound too enticing atm.

how is the pvp element of the game? i dont wanna get into it if its yet another 'kill the AI gazzillion times' type of deal.

I'm glad I quit playing online RPG's years ago. It's just too much of a timewaster. Kind of like posting on ATOT :p

Sounds like a fun game, but this thread has convinced me not to buy it. I have too much to get done, and I'm sure this game would zap all my free time.

I have an older system and I used to play alot of Star Wars Galaxies on it getting an average of like 12-15 fps. I'm really tempted to try out WoW, but will it run better than SWG due to the lower poly counts?

Yes, that's all I think about every day at work.

Come join us, see sig.

Even if are in Central time zone, their servers are located in Virginia with the East servers.

Level 25 Troll Rogue now, just finished the poison quest.

Edit: free 8-slot bag, and other gears too.
