Patience, patience. I can almost guarantee when you get that fence put up in the spring that they're going to knock it down or damage it in some way. You'll have something concrete to go after them with then.

You have to attack their wallets.

DCFS?

Dept. of Children and Family Services.

I had pretty much gathered that from the context. I was more making a point that people should explain their random acronyms.

Wow, I was to infer that from your post?

I wasn't trying to make a big deal of it. It was just a small reminder to the OP that not everyone knows his random acronyms.

It also wasn't supposed to be a thread-jack...

It's not a "random acronym", it's the name of a well-known organization. Can I start a thread about te FBI, or will you not know what that is, either?

Ah, the tides change MrPickins. I believe I'll retort with your own words:

This thread is another example of why I dislike being mistaken for you.

Even though no one has mistaken me for you. Everyone knows who I am. Everyone thinks you are me.

Late to this and the other thread but if you know where your property is, just hire someone to bring in a boulder to mark the corner of your lawn. They definitely won't be able to move it out of the way without bringing in some major equipment since a nice sized one can weight a shitload. They also can't drive over it. :)

Yeah, but then you have a boulder in your yard. A tiger would be much cooler, and they wouldn't move that either.

They can shoot a tiger though. ;)

I think a privacy fence is the ultimate move.

They will be so pissed, and it will keep them contained.
If they screw with it, they will have to fix it.

I have heard of nasty neighbors throwing trash over the fence into your yard though.
That would be tough to prove... unless you had a 24/7 camera.

So plant a tree in that corner, it would fit a bit better in the yard.

a large, very tall fence would be perfect. and on their side of that fence you can write something descriptive, or possibly pictorial illustrating your feelings to them. and if they deface it in any way, you can claim vandalism. :)

and yes, a surveillance camera is most likely necessary when the fence goes up. its almost certain something will happen to the fence when its up.

btw, if DCFS doesn't reveal names, how are you going to push for a harassment claim from the DCFS paperwork? wouldn't the paperwork not have any names on there either?

its called something different in most states/counties..... in my county its called WCSS (Weld County. Department of Social Services), in another county its called CPS (child protective service).

Can i start a thread about those or will you not know what they mean?

Thanks for the update. It is great to hear that DCFS got to the bottom of things pretty quickly.

If you really do not want to build a fence, maybe you can just wait it out for a while. Perhaps they will get run out of town . . . again.

Check with the county to see if they are delinquent on their property taxes. Dirt bags of this caliber often won't pay them.

Extra sweet, 100% legal, and quite possibly profitable revenge could be yours for a reasonable price.

They just purchased the house maybe 6 months ago. so i doubt they are late on the tax's or mortgage yet.

they do not reveal names UNLESS you can prove its harassment. kinda of a catch 22.

the odds on us being able to go after them are slime. but there is a chance. hell there is even a chance DCFS themselves will go after them for a fruad report.

Glad to hear things are going your way at least. Looks like you are taking the proper steps to document a pattern of harassment that will hopefully come in useful down the road. I think I said this before but think about getting a camera set up on your new fence as that will most likely be their next target, assuming they can hold off that long.
