hell cops were called the other night because her son (named adam) who is 15 and 5'10" and maybe 230 lbs was threatning a 9 yr old kid. he was saying how he was going to kick his ass if the kid didnt give him a skateboard (that adam gave him him for his birthday over the summer) back. well fuck its in the yard and we have 2 foot of snow on it!

Just make sure you make one side of the fence as ugly as you can to further ruin their property value! You can always repaint it when you need to sell your house.

well she claimed her property went up to a tree in my yard and was driving on my yard. i asked her to stop and she told me to fuck off.

so she continued and i called the cops. of course the cop was as usefull as tits on a bull. he had no idea what anything to do with property lines were. so he said there was nothing we can do.

so we had a survey and they came out and staked out the property lines. there is NO room for them to drive aorund a car in there driveway now and the cops told her not to drive on my property anymore.

Also her son (adam) stole a zune from the kids across the street. For some reason she blames me because everyone in town knows the kid is a thief.

Waggy's had quite a few posts about his neighbor issues.

Couldn't the be grounds for a slander lawsuit, or something similar? You need to figure out a way to work the law in your favor and get a restraining order - then the real fun will begin.

Once it is closed can you call the police and report being harassed? Surely if the cause is found to be without merit and you press charges for harassment, then the cops could get the information from DCFS?

I didn't figure out the exact wording until posted. I just got "child protective services" out of the post.

In either case, why is it such a big deal to have acronyms explained when they're not common everyday usage?

nope. nothing i can do. DCFS keeps it confidential if the caller wants it kept secret.

so i can't call teh cops for harassment without proof.

DCFS shouldn't have even said it was a neighbor. I don't think they're legally allowed to disclose who filed it, let alone give you any hints.

It would establish a legal paper trail of their BS, for one thing. Secondly, since DCFS said it was a neighbor, the lawyer could (assuming you're on good terms with your other neighbors) have have all your neighbors sign an affidavit that they did not call DCFS. Process of elimination would lead it to the steaming shitbags next door. Then you sick the legal dogs on them.

With that out of the way, I am curious how much power DCFS really has. Quite frankly, without a warrant signed by a judge, I wouldn't let any government employee in my house or onto my property. I have no doubt that they have the power to come onto your property without one, but it's still unconstitutional.
