A piece of seasoned bread with an anchovy on top. I was at a reception in Seville, Spain and it was a local snack. It was the most vile thing I've ever tasted.

 
Sulfuric acid mixed with sugar. I thought I would do myself a favor and breathe through my mouth, so I wouldn't have to smell. Worst smelling thing evar!

Nothing as bad as a lot of the posters here claim.

I was at a relatives house in TN. I got some potatoes (well, I thought they were potatoes) and dug in. Turns out they were turnips, and they were vile.

Muscles are a key component of the lymphatic system, so you could call them the toxin movers. But we still enjoy meat. Liver from a strict vegetarian (cows) is quite healthy. I'd stay away from kidneys though, since that is the last step in toxin/waste filtration.
 
A college lunchroom had what they called shrimp soup one day. It was the nastiest thing anybody had ever tasted. Luckily they never made it again.
 
raw squid sushimi style

tasted hard and fishy/bland. As I chewed it, it became warm, gooey, and fish-like mucus in my mouth.

other than that I really do love sashimi/nigiri
 
In all honesty, mine would have to be a party streamer. One day I licked it, threw up immediately, and knew right away I was never going to taste anything as strong and as nasty as that.
