I enjoyed that movie. Quite a bit, actually.
Yeah I liked it a lot too. I love the pace of the film.

I almost laughed, almost.so many, but off the top of my head...
The Artist
The Descendants
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
The Help
Hugo
Midnight in Paris
Moneyball
The Tree of Life
War Horse
I'm not trolling BUT:
The worst film I ever watched in a theater was The Thin Red Line. It is generally accepted that this is a good to great film but I could not stand any part of it. It was so over-the-top pretentious and war-is-serious-and-insane that it just came across as schtick. Long long long shots of nature between battle scenes. Every character spouting 10th grade philosophy while reflecting on corpses. Awful dialog, scenes that didn't make sense, a convoluted and directionless plot and unsympathetic characters.
If it were a bad movie, I could accept it. But it was made out to be a good serious movie which meant that I take its failing more to heart. If I order a burger, I'm not disappointed with ground beef and probably pretty happy. If I order a steak, though, and I get ground beef, I'm gonna be pretty pissed.
How can anyone hate The Rock. Great movie

The Pest. John Leguizamos worse movie ever. Plus its just really fucking bad. And I like him too.
Ah, this was about The American.
it definitely wasn't what I expected--I thought more fast-paced spy type flick, but then I didn't know anything about Clooney's character before going into it. Understanding his character, the film and pacing is quite perfect.
Well the advertising for the film was WAY off. They marketed as a fast-paced action/spy flick and it was obviously not that at all. Likely why so many people hated it.

I don't get the M Night hate. The sixth sense wasn't that great. His other movies up until The Happening(which wasn't good, but not as bad as most people think) are all decent and pretty thrilling. Better than most mainstream garbage
You're all wrong. Worst movie is The Hangover.

oh that just reminded me of another movie that can be tied for worst movie ever...
Lady in the Water
it's trailer was totally misleading about what type of movie it was, and on top of that, the movie was just fucking awful, just like all of m night shamalayamama's movies.
Worst of all time
Over the Top
WTF a movie about arm wrestling?? Also the kid was a whiney little biatch, so annoying.
Posting it twice in the same thread doesn't make it any more true. Bad movie? Maybe. But worst movie of all time? I don't think so.

I loved sixth sense. He captured the atmosphere extremely well. Unbreakable and signs were pretty good too, but they are not mainstream movies.
