worst football fans, which team?

Honestly i have to give this to the dolphin fans. They are only loyal and only watch their team if they are winning. As a bills fan who is watching his team while they are in the dumbs you will notice that the stadium is still sold out. In miami's instance you'd be lucky to see 1000 people there.

Oh come on. A Packers fan trying to rag on Vikings fans? Gee that's a stretch. Take it from a Lions fan (yeah, yeah, I know...just at heart 'cause I don't bother watching anymore) who lived near the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin....you're all exactly the same.

edit: I will say, however, that Packers fans are the most...what's the word...transient? evangelical? nomadic? pervasive? For no other team have I seen dedicated shops and bars every place I've lived.

i will agree with that. i grew up about and hour and a half from green bay. it is actually a little bit insane how much people are obsessed with the packers. I love them as much as the next guy. but when its front page news taking up 3/4 of the front page that Brett Farve still has not made up his mind about playing another season then something is wrong. make it front page when he makes the decision but seriously. But i do think packers fans are some of the most faithful fans i have seen. the season ticket line is basically longer then anyone will live. even when they suck like the last few seasons they sell out all the games.

You know what I hate? The hard-on ESPN has for the Patriots. Even as a Pats fan, I can't stand that there are articles every week proclaiming what a genius everybody is in the organization. Bellichick is a good coach, the FO has been great, the team is very talented, but why are there always articles about them? What about other good organizations around the league? What about Dungy and the Colts? Just once I'd love to not flip to espn football and see articles about "understanding Bellichick." He's someone managed to cultivate an incredible personality cult, I just wish we could start getting some harder-hitting FOOTBALL analysis.

are you thinking of Colombia?

im assuming you are referring to the 1994 world cup where a Colombian player, after he scored an own-goal in the game vs. USA, was shot soon after returning to his country...

maybe there has been a more recent incident with a Brasilian 🙂

I'm an eagles fan myself. Philly has the meanest, most die-hard fans. But they also have some of the dumbest bandwagon retard "fans" ever. Brain-meltingly stupidass retards.

Also, as a minnesotan I find it doubly annoying that packers fans often come to minnesota to work since wisconsin only has farm jobs then they have the balls to rag on the vikings when they receive their income from the very state they hate, hypocricy and all that.

Who is 3 and 0 and who isn't?

Thats the point, 3 and 0 this year 3 and 13 another year, it doesnt matter people act the same every year.

When it comes to College Football it is said Texas Tech has the worst fans.

In 2003 when Tech beat A&M at home, the fans rushed the field broke down the goalpost and tossed it into the A&M section.

The fans, particularly the students, have gotten so bad the school administrators are getting flack from state legislators, donors, and alumni. Tech has also allegedly lost donors because of the way their fans act.

But, some of the stories that come out of Columbus when U of M visits sound pretty bad too. I know what OSU fans will say, but many independent observers in national media have chronicled how much more the hostile the environment is in Ohio.

Hostile when the state up north visits? Hostile during the number one college rivalry? Are you kidding me? You were expecting flower maidens welcoming you with open arms?

I will say that I don't identify with the .001% of our fan base that get jazzed up by burning furniture and tossing cars.

hey, just look what we have to put up with.
I think part of the problem was about 6 years ago or so the viking fans got there hopes up too high that they were going to finally win the big one................they got all big headed, nobody can stop us..........well they did.. so now they just give up on the game and winning the big one and just smart off...........they really don't even care about the vikings all that much anymore.........just a reason to drink beer and be loud. it doesn't really matter to many of them that win or lose........they gave up, many will not admit that, but lately a few have.....so they show signs of improvement

Packers Fans who can't read, write, or spell. Look at that trash above, you can't even for a complete sentence, nor do you know the difference between "there" and "their". They infect MN, go to our schools, and lead to a decline in the quality of our education. Stay in your own state cheesehead and try to remember the glory days when that man-whoring, pill popping, Favre could only think of two things, getting wet with another chick, and taking more pills. Then think how far that team has declined.

I've never been to the game, but hearing about all the stories most of which include felonious assault by a bunch of drunken fans while people were escorting their 80 year old grandma to the game also while the police looked on and only smiled in tacit approval seems a little over the top.

I know you're talking pro, but to me the most annoying fans are the fans of any team coached by Steve Spurrier. And Notre Dame fans.

The packers were only 8-8 last year and 4-12 the year before. Don't go getting your undies in a bunch.

And WI people do the same to MN. Perhaps try being a hypocrite less often.

woah there tiger. calm down a little bit and read what you quoted. he was responding to a guy who said that WI people go to MN for work and complain about the vikings. both sides of the river were represented and you just happened to miss half of it. there is no reason to get mad just cause we are going to beat you on sunday 😉

ok maybe viking fans aren't the worst in every respect...................but I still say there the worst when comes to smart mouthin and eating there words later

packers play the vikes this weekend.....notice I never mentioned this so far..........
odds are the pack will win, but it's far from 100 percent..........if the pack wins I'm not going to rub it in there face unless they ask for it

I don't get mad. I just marry a Greenbay fan and convert them to Vikings fans! My wife lived in the same neighborhood as Favre and Holmgren. We met at the Univ of MN when she was a packer fan. Now she's seen the light.
