hey, just look what we have to put up with.
I think part of the problem was about 6 years ago or so the viking fans got there hopes up too high that they were going to finally win the big one................they got all big headed, nobody can stop us..........well they did.. so now they just give up on the game and winning the big one and just smart off...........they really don't even care about the vikings all that much anymore.........just a reason to drink beer and be loud. it doesn't really matter to many of them that win or lose........they gave up, many will not admit that, but lately a few have.....so they show signs of improvement

It's football fans. This happens in every city that has a team. If i moved to Green Bay, I'd say the same thing about Packer fans. I was in Atlanta for a Vikings/Falcons game...Atlanta fans were doing everything you are talking about the entire time we were there. The jackasses are always the ones that are going to speak up so they are always the ones you are going to generalize from. It has nothing to do with what team they support.

I had season tickets to the Vikings while i was in college. We had crappy seats (the cheapest season tix) and sat by fans from the opposing team every game. And you know what? Every game we had fans sitting by us from the opposing team acting the exact way you are talking about.

Worst fans as it pertains to loyalty to their team: Arizona Cardinal "fans" win this one hands down.

Worst fans in terms of being obnoxious classless pieces of crap : Eagles or Raider fans. It's really hard to call that one.

LOL, well viking fans used be well know for jumping on and off the band wagon, but I think they give up on that deal............did you know many viking fans leave the game well before the game is over even if the vikes are winning

Ever try to get out of the Metrodome? Didn't think so. The place is such a shithole that you need to try to beat the rush to be able to leave the building in a reasonable time.

My family has a row of season tickets for the Vikings. I'm not a big football fan, but I watch the Vikings games and hope for the best. I guess I don't know or care enough about football to know what the rest of the league us doing.

Oh come on. A Packers fan trying to rag on Vikings fans? Gee that's a stretch. Take it from a Lions fan (yeah, yeah, I know...just at heart 'cause I don't bother watching anymore) who lived near the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin....you're all exactly the same.

edit: I will say, however, that Packers fans are the most...what's the word...transient? evangelical? nomadic? pervasive? For no other team have I seen dedicated shops and bars every place I've lived.

lmao, I live in minnesota and in minnesota we dislike most packers fans but the fact is both of our teams suck pretty bad. Also, as a minnesotan I find it doubly annoying that packers fans often come to minnesota to work since wisconsin only has farm jobs then they have the balls to rag on the vikings when they receive their income from the very state they hate, hypocricy and all that.

East Coast - Eagles/Gaints/Patriots. They really strike me as just grade A jackasses. They are the quickest to hate on their teams and they can be royal douches - Philly and batteries any one?

Not so much Patriots...but I had to toss them in there.

That's my exact same sentiment.

Then again, I am a cowboys fan, Philly fans never seem to be humble when the eagles lose, it's always because of some "uncontrollable" reason why they lost. At least this what I've observed from a couple of eagles fans, so it might not carry throughout.

Regardless Philly fans are jackasses, and Giants fans are as well, just to a lesser extent. Washington fans aren't bad I guess, even though I dislike their team just as much as Philly and NYG.

The patriots have too many bandwagon fans to accurately judge their fans. I guess you could call them the worst fanbase simply because of the huge amount of bandwagoners.

For years it's been generally considered a tie between Raiders and Eagles.

But, some of the stories that come out of Columbus when U of M visits sound pretty bad too. I know what OSU fans will say, but many independent observers in national media have chronicled how much more the hostile the environment is in Ohio.
