World of Warcraft - Lowest Price anywhere?

I haven't jumped on the WoW bandwagon yet, but a free 14-day trial was included in this months PCGamer DVD. According to the information on the disc, you need only pay the subscription fee to continue paying after the trail has ended.

You can buy PCGamer at most stores that carry Magazines for less than 10 dollars. I've seen it at Barnes and Noble. Note, this came with the mail subscription, but it should be on the News stand DVD too. Can anyone confirm?

Update: Despite what it says on the CD, if you read the fine print on the back of the slip case it says you do need to buy the retail. :disgust:

That sounds pretty cool. Ive been wanting to pick up WoW but everytime theres a sale i never have the money. And when I do its always regular price, hehe.

So is it the full version on DVD, or do you have to download the rest of it if you plan on continuing the subscription. I'd never pay monthly to play a game, just curious, though I am interested in the 14 day trial cause WoW is bound to be sexmachine.

Ah, I got that one last month. Perhaps the latest one hasn't reached newstands?

Sorry for making ya go out there for nothing. 🙁

Good deal! The 10 day trial key requires purchase of the full retail version to continue playing, in addition to subscription fees.

Just the price of the issue for the first 14 days. And then to continue playing $15 a month.
At least thats what it sounds like.

This comes with the September mag, issue 140, of PC Gamer. The cover story being "RTS Revolution."

You get the full version installer and CD-Key which you can use to create a full account. You can play free for the first 14 days, after which you will be billed at the monthly rate. To create an account you DO need a credit card, however, if you cancel before the end of the trial, you will not be billed

Text from DVD: "Play WoW for up to 14 days FOR FREE! And if you decide you like the game, simply keep playing and your credit card will be charged on a monthly basis going forward."

Will there be a monthly fee to play the game?
Yes. After the end of the free [...], you will need a subscription in order to continue playing the game. You have three options, as you will see when you create your account: a month-to-month package at $14.99 per month, a three-month plan at $13.99 per month, or a six-month plan at $12.99 per month. You can also substitute game cards, sold at major game retailers, for the monthly subscription.
Blizzards official answer.

Sweet deal BTW. I was in the closed beta, but never ended up buying cause I didn't have the money to shell out for the game. Now maybe I'll try it

So, its in September issue? What about august?
