It should be 3-1 to Canada right now as we've outplayed them for most of that half

Really positive start though, Belgium's defense isn't good and we've got the forwards to come back, hopefully the nerves will calm down in the second half.

Belgium has the best goalie on the planet though. That penalty miss really stings.
 
Yeah it does. I know Davies is our best player but he is not a striker, why it wasn't taken by Johnathan David I dont know.
 
The boys can be proud of that performance. So much positive to take from that game to the next. Croatia's squad is old, we just need to work on finishing and set pieces.

There's one replay where they focused on the feet of both players and you can see that Ronaldo reached the ball 1st and the defender hit Ronaldo's foot.

Whether or not the defender's touch had "enough intensity for a penalty" is a different matter, but he DID hit the foot of Ronaldo.
