I woke up this morning, rolled over and realized:

I can eat bread!!!

What is something you love to eat that you had to go without, why, how long and what did you do to break that "fast"?

Last night, we went to a restaurant that has the best bread in the area and I ate way too much of it.

Thank you, Moses!

I'm diabetic and bread is one of many things I need to avoid. I miss it. If I were to "break that fast", it would show up in my testing, and that's bad.

I used to live on mainly breads & pastas'
I am 5' 9" & weighed 185-195 lbs most of the time, most of it in my belly.

When I got divorced, I decided to lose the gut, cut out nearly all bread & pasta.
Before I realized it, I was down to 136 lbs.! (Now back up to 150 +-)

I now eat bread & pasta, but seems as though I just don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

Cola. Since I've put some weight back on, I really need to avoid it. It's so good though...

As far as things I can have again, definitely coffee. Waking up early and having that first cup... Oh, man. Coffee is proof that God loves us, Ben. Not beer.

So you ate bread last night, but only realized this morning that you can?

Oh, so you are just being an ass.

Gotcha.

Not really, I have no idea what happens if you eat those things.

I know a friend that has to do without lots of things. If she eats them she get an anaphylactic reaction. Hence she has to do without them.

Look up Passover and Lent.

Hey you arbitrarily chose not to eat something, then arbitrarily chose to eat it again... then chose to post about it. I'm just interested in why you chose not to eat it then decided to start again. I was wondering what you thought might happen if you ate it in the short window that you decided not to eat it in.

And you are being a dick about it.

Google "Passover" if you actually want to know.
