Really biased article. How much weight she has lost is completely irrelevant. To me she looks wider than 17"

Wouldn't be grounds for a suit. She's buying space on an airplane. If she doesn't fit into that space, she needs to buy more.

Thats what I was thinking. Who the fuck cares how much weight you have lost. I would have been pissed as hell to be stuck next to her on a plane. If you encroach on another passenger's space then you need to buy more.

Actually - come to think of it If I was stuck next to someone who couldn't fit in their seating area I would complain because I was not allowed all of my 'seating area' :)

Yup, if your fucking fat ass just won't fit on the seat then you can't fly.

if would make sense to keep overweight people in the center line seats. maybe make it specific for them. this will keep weight distribution even and keep the palne from wobbling.

Do you talk like that at your upcoming camp? :p

As for fat people, what about the people who have to sit beside them and having to deal with the spill-over from the next seat. If I'm on a plane, I don't want some fat butt spilling over into my area. Bad enough to fly as it is much less this.

She's embarrassed that somebody is questioning if she can fit into an airline seat, but not embarrassed with the fact that she's HUGE? Either you're okay with the way you are, or you're not. Don't blame an employee for doing their job and questioning if a cow can fit into a seat designed for a human.

Nope, I just bottle up all (or at least most) of my anger, frustration and disappointment (especially at SC) and unleash it all upon the internet.

what if I'm skinny and sitting next to my fat friend? should she be exempt from having to buy a second seat because I don't mind?

She's definitely pushing it, and her mom is way past the limit. No one should have to sit next to her.

If you can arrange it, fine, but if I'm sitting beside some random fat person that is spilling over into my seat, I'm not fine with it. I'm rather pissed off by it.

The worker then tried to strike a deal. Tiggeman, Charpentier and a third overweight woman could fly, if they would sit together.

"Of course my daughter was okay with that. But I wasn't because the deal I made with Southwest when I left, I bought a ticket and it's open seating, and you can sit wherever you want," said Charpentier.

Fuck her and her publicity stunt.
