Aaron refused to stop cursing loudly during a cell phone conversation and became abusive and uncooperative.
Aaron said the officer approached her as she walked to catch a bus, telling her to keep her voice down. She twice tried to break away, but he caught her arm, then placed her face down, handcuffed her, and charged her with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

how is this funny? This is an outrage. Freedom of speech used to exist in this country. Not happy my tax dollars pay for this sort of legal harassment.
Sakinah Aaron, 23, said she feared her unborn baby would be harmed when the officer forced her to the ground and put his knee in her back at a bus stop earlier this month.

this wasnt at night. There is not noise restriction during the day. She could not possibly have been any louder than a or construction workers shouting at each other over the sound of banging hammers and power tools, dump trucks or those annoying suvs with there bass thumping. She was not evading anyone she was on her fone actually minding her own business. The officer was trying to illegally detain her. Granted she could have stoped and asked the officer if she was being arrested or detained then went on her way but then again the officer was on a power trip and illegally harassing her.

If you walk down a public street swearing loudly you are still not covered under the first amendment and you are disturbing the peace. If you see a cop and start running away that is enough cause for them to detain you. She was in a public place swearing loudly and began "avoiding" the police. I see nothing wrong.
