I didn't read everything posted above, I can imagine the usual back and forth. I've watched 95+ percent of the Redsox games the last 2 years, and I think every Yanks/Sox game in that time.
Here are the facts: Arroyo is a #5 starter who has major control problems at times. He did not intend to hit A-H... I mean A-Rod. If Pedro was pitching it would be a different discussion. If it would have been Jeter or one of the MANY Yankees I don't like, but have class, they would have walked to first and that would have been it. A-Rod showed what sort of player he could be in big game situations. Joe Tori doesn't put up with crap and it will be interesting to see how A-Rod deals with the professional nature that is expected of most of the Yankees.
Forget the past, I don't think of the NHL dominated by the Canadians. The Marlins (among others) have shown that payroll isn't everything. It should be a fun end of the season ahead if idiots like the most overhyped player in baseball keep their heads cool. Go Sox!
Watching right now, another HR for Damon who may have to have the right field pole renamed after him soon. Third Boston player hit in the inning, must somehow be Boston's fault huh? Seems like players with class know the difference between beaning and hitting. And of course, Yankees Suck!
(all is in good-natured fun, I can't believe how uptight some people can get)
