Window seat or aisle seat on transatlantic flight

I ALWAYS use the aisle seat... I have a bad stomach. 😉

The bad thing isn't people climbing over you... it's when someone walks by it wakes you up. 🙁

i cannot sleep or be comfortable on any seat on the plane. My shoulders are t0o wide for the seats.

Next international flight i take i will splurge and ride first class.

If you are travelling during daylight hours and there is something to look at, then window. Otherwise, take the isle seat as it give you more elbow room and you can get in and out of your seat without making a fuss.

Aisle with the fewest possible number of seats next to you.

Upgrading to business class if possible is a good idea too.

This is where airline miles are worth their weight in gold, upgrade to Business or First if at all possible.

And I always take the window, even at night.

Aisle.

People don't really get up that much. You can stretch your legs easily. There's nothing to look at outside.

Window = something to rest your head on so you can relax or even sleep. When you want to roam or go to the bathroom, just get up and do it. Aisle gets no advantages at all there.

Aisle = no advantages at all, no rest, no sleep.

Clearly window wins big.

Which reminds me, it's so much easier to go to the bathroom while the food trays are out if you're sitting in the aisle. Sometimes you just have to go...

Aisle, to stretch my legs and make it easier to get up and move around. Looking out the window gets boring after more than about 20 mins.

Aisle seats, so you can get to the bathroom easier. Aisle seats in the exit row, if possible. 🙂

What kind of plane / which airline are you flying? I may not go aisle with certain planes.
