Now everyone is going to think that all Asian males are like William Hung. Does he realize that he is making us Asians look bad? I hope he flunks out of his CE program in Berkeley and sell insurance.

I'm asian. I think you need to calm down. Everyone I know, knows I'm not like William Hung. Everyone in this world is different. People need to stop stereotyping. Geez.

he has guts, not afraid of what ppl think, and living his moment in the limelight. I say more power to him.
 
how is he being an idiot for doing what he likes, im sure that he has a genuine passion for music. its like telling somone not to do something they like to do.

btw, im asian/american and have had a pretty good involvement in music and performing arts.

I'm new to the WH craze. I heard him talk on the radio and I'm wondering....is he a "special needs" kid? Why else are people giving him so much credit for an otherwise mediocre skill level? 😕

I myself think that Will Hung is an tool, but hey, if the dude can make money at his own expense, then it's good for him. Isn't that Chinese are all about? Always trying to show people how they can turn anything into a business?

If you even consider comparing yourself to Will Hung as far as looks, his social status previous to his claim to fame, and common sense, and intelligence... then my friend is the one that need to be re-evaluated. Otherwise just take it as another man's success in an area that not many Asian Americans have, or would ever again make a name for themselves, and that's entertainment.

He is most definatly handicapped. I have to respect the kid for trying, at least hes out there giving it a shot.

I do not like the fact that the recording industry is taking advantage of him though. Just more reason to download more mp3's..
