Will you go out to eat alone?

Am I the only person like this? I'm hungry, and there is a resteraunt close by, but I won't go and eat there unless someone comes with me. I just can't see the point of going out to eat by myself, even if I am hungry.

It's a sit down place, with a waiter. It's a little mexican resteraunt. Not fast food.

I hate eating by myself, period. I don't know why, I typically like being by myself but not when I eat for whatever reason.

Agreed.

I try to do a fancy sit down meal by myself once a month or so. A couple good glasses of wine, a good course meal, then sit with some coffee for a while. It's a great change of pace, and one of my favorite ways to relax on Sun.

Yeah good pt. didn't think that out. i've never actually eaten alone at a restaurant. there's always friends to drag somewhere at college.

ridiculous. i do it all the time. you can't always find someone to go eat with you - the world goes on and doesn't revolve finding a person to accompany you everywhere you go.

it's like how some people won't go to the movies alone. one of my coworkers was telling me how great it was - he can go whenever he wants, sit wherever he wants, leave whenever he wants, etc. there's always "one" seat leftover somewhere, and not always 2 or 3.

If I am at a conference somewhere w/o family or friends I will do it (less depressing than getting take out for a hotel room). When I'm at home I would get carry out or delivery.
