In a best case scenario where the GOP take the House, the Senate and the presidency. They might be able to just change the health care bill enough so there is no penalty from the IRS and no matching funds from the federal government. They could foreseeably change certain parts of the health care law or most of it.

In the bill are Special progressive taxes added for people considered wealthy and also for individuals that make a lot of money off of capital gains as well as an increase in the capital gains tax rate. Then there is the Cadillac tax on excessive health care. The IRS requires penalties and requires tax payers to list their Insurance on their taxes. There is also a provision to make up the losses of companies offering insurance if they lose money. Then there is the progressive manner in which policies are subsidized and how the subsidized policies have higher copays for the unsubsidized policies. This whole concept is really killing people who make just enough money not to qualify for the subsidies. At the same time there is also a new medical billing and coding system that has not been implemented either. Then there is the giant mountain of paperwork required to go along with this nightmare.

To spit in the tax payers even more all of this requires thousands more federal and state employees to manage it and rob you of your hard earned money if you cant afford the insurance.

Methinks some of those who posted the sentiment that the new Repub Pres. is simply going to have the ACA exorcised and purified by some grand empty gesture, a wink and a nod, some double speak and the usual sleight of hand is dead on correct.

It will then transpire where whamo!-presto-change-o! alakazam!, the reviled ObamaCare monstrosity has miraculously become the new nation-wide RomneyCare health plan that the Repubs have "always" been passionately advocating for ever since that offspring of theirs got legs and scurried off into hiding the moment its twin sister reared its ugly head in the form of an identical Democrat authored version.

So funny if it ever comes to pass.
This.

I know, like the systems that already work in other industrialized countries.........

Yeah. Instead we have a political system of those who can't tie their shoes without screwing it up. Let me know when that's over first then we'll talk pie in the sky.

And that who is getting fucked by this bill, the real middle class. But hey, we designed it to be a success with a ton of paperwork, regulations and plenty of people to oversee it. What could go wrong?

Not only did people vote for Obama (twice), but they voted to pass universal health care.

It's a done deal.
