If you're news junkie (the actual news, not the alternate facts/reality news), you've seen the pix of Trump's swollen ankles and odd looking skin.
They had to admit that the swelling was due to "venous insufficiency." But there are at least a few different causes of that. I'm not a doctor, but as you age, you do pick up a few interesting facts here and there.
So for example, heavy amphetamine use causes this exact problem. How do I know? Take a guess. Also, I remember being at an NA meeting (Narcotics Anonymous) where some guy said he'd just been on a massive bender. He has precisely the same symptoms.
For young people, this doesn't seem to be an issue. From my experience, it's mainly middle aged to older folks.
If you're a Trump supporter, that would be the good news since the problem is generally reversible. If it's an actual vascular issue, I would have to assume that that can't be in any way good.
Now, if we assume that Trump has some very serious medical issues and we look at how he has continued to defy the courts, with apparently great abandon, should we at least consider that one possible explanation is that he doesn't think he's going to be alive long enough to be held accountable.
Of course there are any number of other plausible explanations. For example, it's possible that he really believes that there won't be a massive 2026 backlash and that, as has been true in the past, he does generally seem to avoid any consequences of his actions.
Even so, there's enough lack of clarity and transparency that it might be fun to engage in some, perhaps unwarranted, speculation. So let's ask the members.
