Regardless of the reason(s), do you think that Trump will survive at least up until Nov. 2026?

The corporate owned SCOTUS will probably attempt, with some serious pushing from their oligarch buddies, to find a way to get a thoroughly decrepit demented Trump the ability to run for a third term under some national security ruse, up to and including having a very conveniently timed war with some third world nation. Most likely Venezuela seeing as if Trump has Maduro primed for it, or some other contrived "national disaster" to have the nation rally around their perpetually victimized Liar-in-Chief.
AFAIK that would be entirely unprecedented in the 250 year history of the country. That and the fact that by 2029 Trump's apt to be a gibbering slobbering idiot (if alive) has me convinced he won't ever sleep in the White House from that point forward.

Trump is first and foremost a marketing guy that speaks in hyperbole. He's made his mark by being elected to a second term, and because of his age, beliefs, and inability to run again, he's in full blown "I don't give a fuck" mode.
I'll live with it because I have no choice and I agree with many of his goals.
For all of that I still can't embrace the fundamental hate presented by the left. I'm all done with them and hope the majority of the nation is as well.
Why don't you self-deport, then? You could go live on a new continent -- Antarctica -- where everything is White. I'd even give you a clothing allowance for some sunglasses, several pairs of Speedos, and some flip-flops.

Speaking of self deporting, a couple of guys or three has a wake up call regarding the upcoming white christian nation.

Remember, this is fundamentally what :

and I agree with many of his goals.

Is all about. So I suggest to stop pretending like he is a real boy. He is not. It's filth and hate top to bottom. The only way to deal with psychopaths is to not.

(but we're 40% white, please let us in?)
Damn.

Lotta unprecedented shit happening under the nazi. No idea why you think precedent would hold in this one case.

OK, I am not convinced. Plenty of WTF things are happening with this admin, daily in fact. But if Trump sleeps in the WH the night of Jan. 20, 2029 I think insurrection be brewing that will make Jan. 6 look like a party.

Shitlol

Obviously you haven't been paying attention. Mr. Greenjeans lives in the whitest gated community in the deep south of Mississhitty already. There's no way he's leaving his perfectly safe haven.

I'm uplifted just a little by your sense of being entertained. I thought about what I wrote, and considered starting another thread.

"Oh! The Liberal HATE for our President!"

You wonder what planet they came from. We've been slapped in the face by the Criminal-in-Chief since Fall, 2015, with the first GOP "debate". Insulted. Ignored.

So do we "HATE" him?! You're GODDAM RIGHT we do! We're ashamed of our country. We're ashamed of that discursive rant he gave at the UN, and ashamed at his behavior at the Royal state dinner in UK.

Look. The man MAY be dyslexic, but I'd need more proof. He has a reading disability -- you could tell years ago by comparing his unscripted impromptu rants that seem to "connect" with his base, and his deliveries prepared for the teleprompter. He has this breathing that he does as he stumbles through each sentence.

He doesn't read books. He doesn't read the daily intelligence briefings prepared by CIA. He's a danger and threat to the national security.

Is he a criminal? YES! He IS! As much of a criminal as the murderers of Emmett Till -- who were acquitted, to then go off to a national magazine knowing they couldn't be subjected to double jeopardy to just boast of everything they did to that 14-year-old kid from Chicago. We don't need a corrupt judiciary to tell us he's a criminal. Prosecutors from four or so jurisdictions, filing charges independently, do not file such charges unless they have proof and a good chance of winning in court.

The FACTS prove his criminality, but his supporters just continue with saying this is all "political" -- that the Democratic Party is making this all up and orchestrating trouble for their criminal. This is what TRUMP believes himself! Why -- he's a victim of the entire world! The facts don't matter -- he's just being persecuted.

So that's where we are. James Comey is being charged with crimes for which there is no evidence, no basis in law or fact.

If such things could happen to Trump -- 94 felony counts -- conviction for 24 -- a civil court conclusion of sexual assault, then why didn't they make up all those charges against Biden? Why didn't they do so against Obama?

BECAUSE THERE ARE NO FACTS OF ANY WRONGDOING BY THOSE PRESIDENTS!

With this sort of rampant delusion, the only way we can have a dialog is probably through an exchange of hot lead -- not words, not money, not votes.

Fun facts:

In the last 100 years only two US presidents have died in office.

JFK, assassinated in 1963

FDR at the end of 4 consecutive terms (when that was legal) in 1945

The last one before FDR was Harding in 1923.

I PRAY TO GOD for a cell-phone Zapruder Remake. Then I will write "YAY-AY-AA!" on my rear-window with washable paint. I will throw confetti from my SUV at stop-lights and blow on a kazoo. I will blare John Philip Souza marches of the USMC band on my Polk-Audios with the windows wide open. And I will mount two American flags high above my SUV's roof.

Want to arrest me for littering or disturbing the peace? Fine! But I doubt that the cops in this state would bother doing it.

The celebrations by Brazilian that Bosonaro got convicted will pale in the celebrations worldwide with the orange monkey gets to visit the Golden Arches permanently

I'm seriously wondering now if "The United States of America" isn't kaput, history, over with, a ridiculous oxymoron.

I think it was more like "whenever there were no repercussions for an attempted coup", but I'm trying not to be too negative.
I didn't think he'd win again until Biden's presidency started tanking, and even then it wasn't a wrap until the DNC forced Harris on us.

Sometimes I actually feel like there is a mad/evil scientist fucking with the simulation. I mean the amount of stars that had to line up in other to get us here is staggering.

Top of mind, dozens more

1. Comey reopens the investigation into Hillary's emails 2016
2. Merrick Garland.
3. Bullets not connecting.
4. Harris fumbles the campaign
5. The Mueller Report.

I don't think Biden's presidency "tanked". I think there was a narrative put out there by GQP/media that things were awful, when in all reality, everything was actually going fairly well. Biden will be judged historically to have done an above average job at least.

As for Harris, there really wasn't another viable alternative at that point. A rushed free for all mini-primary would have been complete and utter chaos at a time when there was a reasonable sitting VP.

I agree on 4/5. Harris did about as well as possible with the exception of her interview on "The View". It's not her fault the voters are either largely stupid or voting against their own interests.

Indeed. Fail to see how she tanked? Just because she moved the message in the last weeks to talk about how horrible the orange monkey is. It’s idiotic that the Dems aren’t allowed to run a negative campaign when the other side was always doing it.

Y'all have said enough with which I wholeheartedly agree.

I want to rant. But it just wears me out, with my limited 78-year-old energy level. Oh. 78? Did I say that? Not yet -- nine days to go.

40% of the eligible, registered electorate did not vote in 2024. There's enough blame to go around. And now, the Criminal is turning his DOJ guns on Fanni Willis?

And the Supreme Court's GOP appointees are just giving Trump a blank check. Cases decided at a lower level are being appealed, but the Supremes are reversing them without giving an explanation.

They've sold out the entire country. Even if the Dems re-take Congress, how do they clean up this mess, short of putting bullets in the brains of Justices?

If I were diagnosed with terminal cancer, I wouldn't worry much about ignoring the Rule of Law and pulling my own John Brown attack.

Completely disagree. Biden had become a space cadet like late second term Reagan and needed to be replaced on the ticket a year before the election. Harris was not a viable candidate. She couldn't win a single primary in 2020 but now she's supposed to win the big one? I can't believe I was about the only one here not surprised when Trump soundly defeated her. Harris is such a dipshit, can't believe she called Trump a communist dictator the other day on Maddow's show. But that tells you exactly what she is: a neolib who hates the left.
