pending the size of the back seat, or if you can fold down your rear seats into the trunk, I think you could.

Highly unlikely. The box ours came in barely fit through the doors in my house, let alone in the back of a normal sized car.

hmm...well if you have to keep it upright, you MIGHT be able to fit it in the back seat, but it would be tight.

I almost couldn't get this into my GTO... I had to wedge into the front seat somehow.

For my 42" plasma, I had to get a friend's truck.

i don't think so, you need to have a backup plan, like the 3 hr pickup rental from home despot or something

out the box MAYBE. GF got a 42" LCD from BB last Black Friday, with her rear seat down we squeezed it in the trunk of her Honda Civic 4 door and had to use tie wraps to get the trunk to close.

I was BARELY able to squeeze a 37" LCD into a Toyota Camry... i imagine a 50" will be more challenging even with a more spacey sedan... unless you can somehow remove the back seats.

Not going to happen. The box for a 50" is going to be HUGE. I was seriously dumbfounded at how big the box was when our Pioneer was delivered.

Yeah the box is huge. I got a 42 plasma and figured it would easily fit in my gfs car. Then I saw the box. We had to get someone with a van. I'm sure it would have fit without the box, but I'd rather inconvenience someone with a truck/van than take that risk. Heck, if you don't know anyone with a truck/van, I'm pretty sure Home Depot or one of those home stores will rent trucks.

My grandmother was able to get her 50" DLP into her prius with the box and everything.

I would hope a plasma has a slightly smaller box.

shens

call shens all you want.

With the seats folded down on that prius, that box was able to lay on its side just fine and still get the rear door shut. Fact.
