Isn't it a little unnecessary to use a nalgene while driving? Is there that much risk for breakage?

if i'm driving home after a day of hiking/biking i want to still able to drink out of my water bottle while rehydrating on the way home mister.

So, the "Water Bottles" of the 1980's are now called "Nalgenes?" WTH?

Guys, it's a freakin' WATER BOTTLE. It's plastic, has a screw on lid with a squirt cap and it holds WATER.

Nalgene my ass. You're paying $$$ for a freakin' plastic water bottle I could buy for $.99 at the Dollar Store.

Nalgene bottles are made of Lexan, so they don't warp and are damn near impossible to break. If you're using the water bottle to go to the gym, it doesn't really matter much, but if you were to go hiking or biking with it, a tough water bottle is useful.

there's no squirt cap you dumbas$, raynors got it right
a friend has dropped her nalgene off a 1000 foot cliff and it didnt break, good thing since it had water in there for their 3 day trip
we could also use the bottle to beat your ignorant as$
Actually, nalgene makes water bottles with squirt caps...would you like me to take a picture?

not for the regular lexan ones we've been talking about this entire time

I think there was a problem with the bottle though because it should not have broken then. Does anyone know if there really is a warrantly on these if you are ever able to break them because that is what I have always heard but I have never known if it was the truth???

I'm pretty sure you *do* get a new one if you manage to break it...but no guarantee.
