Allies took Germany and bitch slapped them and there would have been nothing they could have done if a part of their country was given only to the Jewish people

Why pick that shithole they have now.. do we really support religious extremism ...

I know eh? Thank god muslims are so peaceful. Israel being placed in the middle east has had nothing but nonstop peace since it was founded. They couldnt have picked a more peaceful group of people to share land with.

Probably because while some lived there, that wasn't the greatest concentration of Jews. They figured they would give them land that had religious meaning to them.

on returning to Europe following WW2, Jews were getting killed.

True, though most of that occurred in Poland. The Poles were worse anti-Semites than the Germans. They continued systemic murder of Jews after the Nazis had been driven out, killing Jewish survivors who tried to return to their homes and rebuild their pre-war lives.

This topic is stupid. I would suggest looking up what the zionists were doing in the 1930s as for why the current location was decided.

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Nice blanket statement there. If this was true then why would Poland have the largest Jewish population in Europe pre-WWII? And to call any other country more anti-Semitic than Germany is quite disgusting.

Let's not forget that 6 million Jews died in camps etc. however 12 million PEOPLE were gassed and killed ( that would make the other 6 million ) not Jewish, just whatever other type of person that the Germans hated.

Are you under some impression it was the poles who extinguished their Jewish population? I havent heard of widespread extermination of Jews returning to Poland. I suspect you are confusing Communists taking out political and intellectual Jews who returned to post war Poland with a planned continuation of the holocaust.

Q: Why weren't Jewish people given part of Germany instead of religious land?
A: Because.

But if you want the real answer, it's because anti-Semitism didn't end on V-E day.

I think OP was clearly talking about reintegrating the Jews with the Germans.

That makes so much sense.

You know, that makes much more sense than just carving a piece of the country out where 100% of the population were Jews and the only people that could discriminate against them their own straight Men.

So. Much. More. Sense.

I mean, damn, how did you NOT win a Nobel Prize already?

I feel like you should be nominated for the effort at the very least.

saying that the Poles were worse antisemites than the Germans is a reach, but there were incidents of Jews getting killed in Europe following WW2.

people were worried that they'd lose their property, businesses, etc gained during the Nazi era to returning Jews.

Culturally, the Poles were at least as anti-semitic as the Germans, possibly more so. This was also true of Ukrainians and the peoples of the Baltic States. People tend to assume that the Germans were the most anti-semitic culture because they are confusing the Nazis with the Germans in general. True enough, Germany was fairly anti-semitic before the Nazis, and became more so under Nazi propaganda, but Poles and other eastern Europeans were at least as anti-semitic, and today are definitely more so than Germans. Polish Jews who survived and tried to reintegrate into Poland after the war were not well received, and the vast majority ended up leaving for the U.S. or Israel as a result.

It's because we did not subjugate the rest of Europe. They all needed a thorough re-examination as Germany and Japan experienced. However, they were left be, and countries like France and the UK returned to their colonialist and genocidal policies. They would not tolerate a country you propose within their Continent of Genocide.

Heh. My 92 year old Grandma would say the same thing... except she'd say "blacks".
