Share your thoughts on why you prefer PCs over consoles...

PC is pretty anti-social. You and three of your buddies aren't going to sit around the monitor to play a game on it.

because any one that "owns" at Halo, wouldn't stand a chance on a pc. consoles are for frat boys and little kids.

I use my PC for gaming because PC's are far superior for gaming.
1.) Keyboards and mouses are the best controllers for games
2.) PC's have better graphics (currently at least, much bigger textures, antialiasing, etc)
3.) PC games have many many free mods available (and they are just simple downloads and installations)
4.) World of Warcraft is only out on PC
5.) Sound quality can go either way, but high end sound cards produce better, cleaner sound then Consoles. (assuming same speaker setup for both)

Improved graphics, better choice in controlls, ability to play modded games. There generally better in every area, it's just that PCs cost more...

No we sit around 1 PC/person. Ever seen a LAN party? Every play a game online, with teamspeak? Hardly anti-social.

A LAN party is hard to set up, and not something you can do just by walking into your friends dorm. You have unplug all of your wires, carry your computer and monitor (which is pretty heavy), set up everything again. This takes like 30 minutes (not including transprotation). In that time, I could already be playing a game. Add this to the fact that you're sitting in a chair (probably not that comfy) instead of a couch. A LAN is so much less casual, and so much more set up (not that this is a bad thing, just different).
