Man-oh-man, I knew from the get-go that Trump's supporters were going to have to dig really really deep into the barrel-o-excuses to defend the guy seeing as if he's got nothing to like and everything to hate about him, but having to go under the barrel and then start digging there is desperation extraordinaire. It's something to admire in some sense but also something to chuckle at given the long leap of faith and painful mental gymnastics required to "git-er-dun".

I'd have thought that Trump winning would make his opponents squirm from finding answers for why they lost but apparently it's had the opposite effect where his supporters are squirming from finding a logical reason for why they actually believed the blatantly empty promises and comforting lies that Trump mesmerized them with along with believing the lies about Hillary that both Putin and Trump filled their heads with.

It's even gotten to the point where Trump's supporters are holding the folks who didn't vote for him responsible for his winning the presidency. The chefs are blaming the diners for why they have to eat the crappy toxic food they got served.

Personally, what I don't like about Trump is his willingness to debase himself, his willingness to repeatedly and blatantly lie about his intentions and worst of all, how he eventually exposed himself as the Contradictor in Chief by filling his Cabinet with those very same apex political and big business swamp critters that he PROMISED he was going to get rid of after taking office, thus making himself the Top Swamp Critter of them all.

At this rate, Trump's supporters soon will be reduced to blaming, say, the Russians for his failures.

I have to ask, do you have some sort of memory recall issue?

"conservatives don't take to the streets"? Seriously? Obama's first year as president was spent with tea party protests happening all over the place.
You are correct and my mistake. I never paid much mind to the Tea Party as anything more than a sideshow of misdirected rage, and dismissed them as being more a nuisance than a credible movement.

I never realized they pulled the crowds they did.

Others already made the joke, but Trump just got rejected by the largest number of women in one day OF ALL TIME. So that should make him feel strong and masculine.

Losers hate winners, Trump is the greatest president in our lifetime.

Hillary was the worst human being to ever run for president, it was an honor voting against her, and her following.

lol +1

Those who cannot laugh at this election cycle are going to have a very rough four years.

And kudos to Atlanta for having such classy protesters.

Damn, for second there I thought I saw my daughter in the crowd. Got a case of whiplash eyeballs from it. ;)

The reason the Authoritarian left really hate President Trump is because they're afraid he's actually going to do what he said he's going to do........................ and that scares the shit out of them.

The irony of labeling others as Authoritarian while Dear Leader Donnie peddles his nu-Truths... you're a joy.

He's truly special. So is Donny, his hero, his savior, his cult leader-

I am your voice, said Trump. I alone can fix it. I will restore law and order.

Every cop shop in America (good & bad) loves this guy & his AG.

Just remember that wishy-washy Liberals are the Real authoritarians & you'll be OK.

You helped to get a pathological liar into office who NOT EVEN 24HRS INTO ADMIN dished out blatant lies, coined idiocy terms like "alternative facts" and forbade fed agencies to tweet because of an "inconvenient" tweet. (Or a tweet which could be interpreted as such since I personally don't think the NPS tweeted out actually wanting to make a political statement).
Also, not even 24hrs into office he proclaimed (in a totally inappropriate location) that he is "at war with the media". Yeah you should be proud of your bimbo prez there....

This is funny since seeing this one would think it's you who should by now very knowledgeable of what "authoritarian" actually means. Obviously, you are not, judging from your ramble about some ominous "authoritative left".

Also: Whatever Trump will be doing...will affect not just "liberals". Maybe you're in a delusion that this be the case. It ain't. Every fuck up of this bozo will affect anyone, you included. Ironically, the typical low-wage Trump supporters and those who put their hopes into the bozo should actually be most scared.
