Why the iPad is great and most other tablets out there suck

Heading to the toilet? It started in the toilet. All it's been doing since then is collecting pieces of shit and waiting for someone to flush.

Rooting and installing Cyanogen isn't necessary to get good performance on all Android phones (see Nexus S). Rooting and Cyanogen are only "necessary" when the phone manufacturer doesn't get updates (specifically, Gingerbread) to you in a timely fashion and/or you don't want all their bundled bloatware.

lol, without GPU acceleration, you need 2ghz if you want close to smooth operations.

LOL!!!

This isn't going to change until Android stops being a complete alpha level POS software.

This is the kind of device you get with flagship Android:

Lag.

So lag is your only complaint. I could spot out stuff about the iPhone that sucks but I don't need to because we've already covered it in the millions of other threads we've had. It seems people can deal with the occasional lag or you're just over-blowing it as obvious more people prefer Android over iPhone.

Lag

POS Plastic, generally crappier screens

Battery life sucks

Apps suck

On screen keyboard sucks

Touch screen is imprecise

Even cameras suck

Happy now? I'm on Verizon, I can get a flagship Android phone at any point but to do so would be like going to a Yaris when I'm driving a Mercedes.

Like I said before just with the apps, you really need to do your homework. There's an Android phone that does all of those well. I don't need to say which ones because yet again, we've discussed those in the millions of other threads here.

Even your link showed no lag if you used the right software. Is there no software that can slow down an IOS device?

POS Plastic, generally crappier screens

You can get Android phones with aluminium bodies if thats your thing.

Battery life sucks

Yeah this needs to improve. the sooner the drive for thin phones ends the better.

Apps suck

What, all of them?

On screen keyboard sucks

What, all of them?

Touch screen is imprecise

😕

Even cameras suck

😕

Your points are a bit weird. If you pick the worst cases then yes but would you deliberately pick the worst software to run or would you pick the stuff that works well?

Where? You can't. All Android phones are plastic.

😕

😕

They're just inferior, laggier, and if you haven't tried typing on an iPhone or iPad, you don't know how shitty both the touch screen sensing algorithm and the predictive correction technology is on Android. They are worlds apart.

Android phones just suck, it's just hard for fanboys to realize this.

The key to not being a fanboy is having money to throw around. If you didn't feel like you needed to "Defend" your purchase (Google is laughing), you might want to go on the gay side of the fence and try out a homosexual Apple product! *gasp*

I'm just trying to enlighten you all on how much of ride Google has taken you for and how utterly defense you get over these laggy, plastic devices that you know in your heart is just not as good.

Doesn't the desire 2 have an aluminium unibody?

The keyboard and correction on my phone is fine, it works as well as the ones on iphones I've used. Obviously the ipad has the advantage of a bigger screen.

Now your just starting to foam at the mouth. I'm certainly not going to defend Google as a company, I'm not that keen on them myself. I just think Apple and Microsoft are both offering worse options in the phone area.

Oh and dont bring the financial aspect into the argument you dont know me.

LOL, I was looking for a fast Android experience... look at this guy:

Tapping on the screen all the time with no response from the super overclocked Samsung Galaxy S.

The only thing you have is lag which is rarely there, for every point you have there`s an Android phone that already has remedied that situation, even battery life.
