The only thing you have is lag which is rarely there, for every point you have there`s an Android phone that already has remedied that situation, even battery life.

One of the biggest advantage of the Android ecosystem is that there are dozens of different devices with a wide range of specifications and features and for any problem or issue, there's some Android phone that's solved it, I would say there are few or no devices that solve all of them.

On the other hand, what one person may cite as a problem (e.g. lack of physical keyboard, large device, etc.) another person might not care about at all or view as a good thing. A lot of things come down to personal opinion.

Ahh..ignorance is bliss. The second gallery app was noticeably better, but guess what? Its still a tortoise compared to iOS. Even Dolphin HD is laggy.

Have you use an iPhone 4 before? I can pinch zoom so fast my fingers could fall off and iOS will still follow my every movement precisely.

Yes but what you get in smoothness you give up in functionality and now pretty much every new Android phone is smooth plus it's not like it's unusable. If it was then no one would get an Android phone.

I'll put it to you this way. One has GPU acceleration natively, for everything. One doesn't have GPU acceleration natively, except some skins have GPU acceleration in some places. Also, the newer Android phones don't show it as much because the CPU is much more powerful.

My Android (vibrant) has 487 apps installed, my iphone 3gs has maybe 18. Yes, the ip feels faster and doesnt lag as much but I can guarentee that if I jammed 487 apps on the iphone it would probably drop dead, but alas I cant as there is not enough memory on the iphone to allow this side by side comparision.

The specs are all that matters to phandroids. That is, until it works against them. Then things like GPU ACCELERATION DONT MATTER! This is how it works. You will never win.

There is no notable difference between the two. This is why GPU Acceleration isn't a big deal, it doesn't factor in. iOS has it, but both function at the same speed.

I have seen it firsthand as well. GPU acceleration DOES matter. The faster processors in the android phones have helped to hide the lag. Its true. But its not completely gone.

How do you hide lag? "The lag is there, I just don't know why it isn't lagging right now! I swear guys! I saw it!" It is either there or it isn't.

Notice, I haven't yet said anything bad about iOS. All you guys do is spout garbage about your brand and how it is better than everything else.

Seriously, when you use both devices, I think it is pretty easy to see that neither is clearly smoother than the other. Both are responsive to every touch and movement. What proof do you want? You want me to set up a test measuring response times to the nanosecond of each? I'm sure I could link to some Youtube videos that would help prove my point, just as you could find some videos that proved yours. I wouldn't call that a credible source. I have seen it in person, and so have you. How do you expect me to prove to you any other way? Nice try though.

It depends what you're used to. After using the galaxy s 2 for a week my old phone feels terrible, but at the time it didn't seem so bad. Btw the iPhone is noticeably slower than both windows 7 phones and the dual core androids.
