You don't need to superimpose your (correct) feelings of inferiority on me. I'll play football and I'll play soccer. I used to be on the tennis team, too, and I know it's not exactly a manly sport, but I like playing it anyway.

Most of the people on this forum are extremely unmuscular and unathletic. It stands to reason that they won't excel at any sport, let alone football.
I'm not superimposing anything on you. You're the one who equates American football with manliness. Apparently you feel the need to make up for inadequacies in other areas.

People like myself who can actually please a woman don't have to brag about a sport making us "more manly".

Maybe you should give these folks a call. http://www.enzyte.com

That was one amazing episode.

Ok...Here is the deal
Trust me, if you hear American commentate on European soccer after you have heard the REAL experts from Europe commentate, you will realise that every soccer match you see on TV here is an episode of Simpsons.

It's easy to get broken noses, collarbones, and legs when you're 6' 130 lbs.

Oh..is that why American Football players cover themselves like they are scared of you?

Edit: Forgot to mention, the guy who broke his collarbone also played high school football. I guess those 130 pound wimps can kick pretty hard.

Wow, it's easy to make up fake "facts" and false experiences to support your story. Watch this:

There was this guy, he tried to pick on me, and he was twice as big as the biggest guy in the world. And I beat him up real bad because I lie on ATOT.

HAHA, I played just about every sport there is.

The one I dished out the most injuries and received the most was in soccer.

Then again, I was the goalie and I was allowed to do flying body tackles and other fun things other people on the field couldn't do as long as I had a hand reaching for the ball. Goalie in soccer = god of pain. If I wanted your sorry ass hurt or permanently disabled while playing soccer, I could and there wouldn't be a damn thing you could do about it. You just can't do that in American Football and yet have it still be legal. Not to mention, you have to get through all those pads to actually hurt someone in a place that can really dish out some damage beyond a bruise.

You have no idea how people cna force injuries and still have them considered legal plays for soccer if you think it's for pansies. There are plenty of ways to do slide tackles to take out knee caps and ankles. There are ways to chase down a ball side by side with another player and make them check their family jewels or kidney tosee if htey can still pee after the game. There are ways to dribble and "pass" a ball that allow your foot to follow through in an arc after hitting a ball to kick the SH~T out of another player while they have no protection on at all.

There are ways to go for head shots and break noses on other players. I garauntee you, if you wanted to play soccer with me and I wanted you hurt, you are going to get hurt. The same can't be said for football players.

I love it. You use the same lame tactics as any other forum poster. Here are the common arguments.

1. If you disagree with something that I say, you're a Nazi.

2. If you're bigger than me, it's because you feel inadequate in other areas (that means your penis is small! ha ha ha)

Is that anything like making up the "fact" that soccer players are 6' 130lbs?

Nazi? Where did this come from? You're paranoid.

And if football makes you feel more manly, then it definitely is some inadequacy on your part. You need a shrink, boy.

Yeah, you gotta wonder why this wunderkin is so threatened by true futbol?

Maybe it was a childhood episode where he was totally embarassed on the pitch? So he cried and hid behind a helmet and shoulderpads to feel more "manly"?

Wouldn't Sumo Wrestlers do quite well in american football? I mean, they're friggin huge, and i doubt they go down easily, even to the people in american football today.

I like Football (soccer), and everybody played it as we were kids. Doesn't need much planning and stuff, all you need is to hace a ball, and you can play, just two people.

I was pointing out very common arguing tactics used on ATOT, and most forums in general. Obviously you can't see past it, since you resort to those tactics. Your arguing ability is weak.

I'd gladly play you guys in soccer. If there are ways you'll get hurt in soccer, I'll be dishing it out. Just like I'd dish it out in any other sport. Being a weakling is never an advantage.

As I've pointed out before, stickboy, I used to play soccer and most football players do not wear pads, just as most people that play soccer don't have a full size field and wear cleats. This isn't the NFL. This is a bunch of guys playing football.

The patience and just sheer technique and teamwork required to accomplish anything is what makes soccer appeal to me so much :)

So those lardass defensive linemen are what you call athletic? I guess in America where gluttony and a fat ass seems to be the norm, that sounds about right.

That's a bit of a strawman to single out the biggest, slowest people on a team.

I'd like to see a soccer player's build compared to Terrell Owens.

I've asked a few of my cousins why they play and the majority of the time the answer I hear is "because it is cool." Umm, ok I suppose. A couple of them have even told me they like football or baseball better but that those aren't cool sports to play. WTF?

It's a shame they way the word football is used in the US. Real football (called soccer here) has been played for longer and is spread worldwide.
The sport is cheap and can be played anywhere.

Just incase it hasn't been mentioned yet, a stratified survey taken in 2000 (I think) revealed Basketball passed Soccer (Football) as the worlds most popular sport.

Yeah, I'm quite intimidated by a guy who has a post count of almost 5400 in six months. I'm sure you're a physical specimen not to be trifled with.
