Funny, most of the people I talk to that hate Bush are bandwagoning and simply bleating out slogans they've been told.

And to top it off, most of the reasons I've heard have been proven wrong time and time again, yet are still bleated out.

Guantonimo, Enron, "Freedom should have limits," passive capital gain tax cuts, record deficit, support for outsourcing, yellow cake.

Prove me wrong Amused.

Heh heh...Just because someone doesn't agree with you and Michael Moore, that means they're not a free-thinker?

The ironing is delicious :)

Most of the reasons have been proven wrong!? My my what an ignorant fan boy you are. You have to be seriously ill to think that bush has done more good then bad for the US and other countries.

How very nice of you to attempt to turn this into a flame war.

The most oft bleated slogan is by a wide margin "Bush lied about WMDs." This has been proven false by not only a bipartisan senate committee, but by the Russians and Brits as well. Yet people still bleat it out over and over again.

You really don't know who you are argueing against if you're calling Amused a Bush fanboy.

Anyone have an owned pic for this guy b/c I have a feeling he's about to get schooled.

Yeah and when you have something of use to say....come back and post.

"freedom should have limits."

This is owned by the left as much as the right. Tell me, how many freedoms have you actually lost because of Bush directly? I cannot think of one.

I can, however list a LONG list of freedoms I have lost under others, both left and right.

Shall we start with nannystate laws, or economic laws? How about business regulations?

The left believes that freedom has limits JUST as much as the right.

Enron started long before Bush. ALL the crimes were committed under Clinton's admin. They were caught under Bush's admin.

As for the terrorists in Guantanamo, no I do not fully agree with how that has been handled. Nor do I agree with the patriot act because it is too easy to abuse.

I fully support any and all tax cuts. The deficit is due to a recession that started before Bush took office.

Outsourcing is what happens when workers, taxes, and regulations force companies to take drastic measures to be more competitive on the world market. Want to stop outsourcing (gee isn't that a "freedom?") then stop the reasons WHY companies want to do so.

Oh, and when a bipartisan senate committee, the Russians and the Brits all say Bush did not lie about the Yellow Cake, I'll believe them over partisan BS.

Mwilding, you need to read up on this a bit further. Bill Timmins (he didn't even write that letter) will no longer be president at the Aladdin. The hotel will be under new management after a recent buyout by the group that owns Planet Hollywood. The new management invited Ronstadt back and actually took Michael Moore up on his offer to join her onstage. Apparently, the new owners of the casino got more mail in support of Ronstadt/Moore rather than in support of their actions.

So basically, if you stay at the Aladdin, you're staying in Michael Moore's new favorite hotel on the Strip!

Proof that the new management will bend over backwards for Moore

Mearly stating the obvious..my bad.

Ohh so you have the lied about WMDs argument..well maybe not a complete lie (beacuse others believed it also) but where are those WMDs? Anyways...for a few examples....just look at stnicralisk's post.

You see the difference between my posts and yours is that I address the issues. You have nothing but personal insults.

If anything I said is false, or if you disagree with any of my opinions, address those directly.

I never blamed Clinton. I pointed out that ALL the crimes of Enron happened while Clinton was in office. That simply shows that to blame Bush for them is ignorant.

Fact:

Bush could not have caused "Enron" as all the "Enron" crimes were committed before he even took office.

How many more do you need today? My post was a mix of my opinion, and fact. The two were easy to seperate. Pick an issue and we'll discuss it.

Eh... Enron did not rape California while Clinton was in office. EnRon did not go under while Clinton was in office. Enron do not have any friends to the great President Bill Clinton.

EDIT: Oh, and I almost forgot to add, even though EnRon did not get caught under the Clinton administration, it was due largely in part to its HQ located in the country of Texas.

What about the deficit...you blamed that on the former administration too.

Here is the problem...ive seen the opnions and "information" you've givin splashed all over the P&N thread and other forums. Most of it has been debunked and im tired of people that just keep bringing up this stuff in a desperate attempt to glorify our current horrible administration. Im tired of talking about this. There are more intersting topics to go post in.

maybe you should try posting some opinions and thoughts instead of just clapping and cheering on CPA and anyone else that defends bush. I disagree with CPA but i respect the man for he can atleast put his thoughts down and make a point. Same with BroeBo (and i agree with BroeBo). But alll you've been doing recently is posting :thumbsup:s

What is Michael Moore's general purpose ? He's got his resources in sending a public message, but WHY ?

WHY doesn't he just run for president and get it over with ? What is he trying to accomplish and what does he get from it that deserves so much of his attention (and ours) ?
