LOL! that's ALL he does is make movies and write "letters" on his site. He's a full time propagandist.

It still simply amazes me that he would write a letter so woefully ignorant of private property rights and employee rules. I mean, the guy can't be that fscking stupid, can he?

Its ironic they mention "brainless followers of you" in reguards to Moore.

yes, because we all know Moore's fans are all fabulous free thinkers...

Moore questions authority. how is that not free thinking? Or should everyone bend over quietly and take it up the ass from our current administration?

and no, im not a "fan" of Moore. I have seen Farenheit 911 and I do think that movies asks some very important questions. I dont care that it questions the Bush administration. if the current govt is doing something wrong, we have every right to question them...

You're right, and we also have every right to question Moore as well. It's a two way street. Moore gets to say what he wants about the gov't, and we get to say what we want about Moore.

i never said you couldnt. i was merely opposing Mwilding's blanket statement.
which was in response to a blanket statement. begin recursive loop here...

Never underestimate the power (or depth) of human stupidity. Michael Moore is just proof of Henry Mencken's statement "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people".

The Moore letter is real. The response is fake.

At any rate, Moore's pleading for the 1st Amendment in this case is pure ignorance. You do NOT have freedom of speech while working for someone else and/or while on someone else's property. If you say something they do not agree with, they can remove you from their property.

THAT, is true freedom.

removal of property rights - That's the most egregious pattern of rights stripping over the last 50 years. People talk about freedom of speech and freedom of assembly all the time. But very few stand up to property rights, when it's friggin listed right next to those two things in the Constitution. It's very upsetting actually.

Exactly. He bases a lot of his arguments on constitutional rights, yet the letter shows he clearly doesn't even know these rights.

I thought BOTH of the letters were fake. Sad that they aren't.

Funny, most of the people I talk to that hate Bush are bandwagoning and simply bleating out slogans they've been told.

And to top it off, most of the reasons I've heard have been proven wrong time and time again, yet are still bleated out.

Moore's letter isn't fake also? Depressing. As I was reading them I was really sure they were both fake. They are both stupid emails.

Okay seriously - I dont approve of Bush. I dont like MM about as much. Im not so keen on Kerry either. (Nader for President :p )But here are some non partisan points I need to make to some of you who have previously replied.

1) Questioning Bush and/or the War is NOT betraying America. Have you forgotten how America was STARTED? It is beautiful that we have the freedom to do this and trying to silence American's with an opposing view on the basis that theyre unpatriotic IS betraying America because you obviously dont believe in the freedom's were founded on.

2) MM is usually full of crap. He may have one or two good points but he is really just a bunch of propoganda. He is an assinine retard. If it took MM to make you question GB I am sorry for you. You should have questioned GB as president when he went on the record saying, "Freedom should be limited," after being criticized in 1999 (Because we all know criticizim should be stifled in our country.)

3) There could have been a much better written response to MM. 2/10

4) CPA if youre worried about rights I would like to speak about Guantanamo. It is a much more serious issue than a fat a$$ voicing an opinion that contradicts property rights - instead it is our government denying the right to a fair and expedious trial to people (Many of which were released after being held for months.)

True,

You don't expect anyone in today's PC world to be straightforward and speak their mind
like that.
