He wasnt black, the way this thread progressed seems to me that you want something to argue about.
So then, if it doesn't matter what he looked like then why not make him black?
if it doesnt matter then why bother the argument. If you choose to have a black Christ on your wall more power to you.
So long as our culture pictures Adam, Eve, Moses, Jesus, Mary, the Apostles, and even God "himself" as fair-skinned folk, despite the obvious
preposterousness of such representations
Ive never seen a picture of God much less one of a white God, oh you mean the shining light that is used to represent him or the burning bush oh ok yeah I can see how you see a white man in the burning bush. If you have a picture of God then scan it and post a link, I would be very interested in seeing him.
The bible says he was olive skinned, maybe he was an alien? green olives? Given the locale I believe he was darker skinned, Im sorry I do not believe that he was what we consider black today. I do know that he did great things and that frankly it doesnt matter what color he was or is. He died for my sins and loves me and will welcome me into heaven when I die.
we will continue to plant the seeds of racial supremacism in the hearts and minds of millions of people..
Making up words?
Sounds like you are one of the hearts and minds that got it wrong.
You you feel racially inferior because of a painting? Or it just bothers you that some people cant accept the fact that he wasnt blonde hair blue eyes? You wont stop until everyone on earth accepts that Jesus is BLACK. I got news for you when you see him on that day your crusade still wont be accomplished. Your hindering your own progress.
Jesus is whatever you want him to be, God exists in everyone. When I walk into heaven, see that he has a good tan and isnt white Im not gonna argue the point, get pissed, and take the escalator to hell to see if the devil is RED and has goat feet!
red, yellow, black, and white
they are precious in his site
