Why doesn't the rearing of children take a villiage? You didn't learn all your values, and social skills from just your parents. You learned them from Sunday School teachers, School Teachers, Policemen, Friends, and anyone else you came into contact with your entire childhood. That is a villiage.

Am I missing the point, and did she mean otherwise (Sorry, my memory seems to have clouded over that one)? I'm not attacking, I'm really just asking.

Why is Hillary so scary?
I'd like to hear the reasoning.

I'll take Bill's obviously more informed perspective, and he chose that fat pig Lewinsky over her so she MUST be pretty sacry......

Are you even from this planet? lol That's BILL CLINTON I was speaking about, and the "scariness" difference was a physical comparision between HC and ML, sigh.......

Yeah but Monica Lewinsky didn't say that it takes a village to raise a child.

Hillary Clinton is fine. She's still married, smart, and ambitious which is good. I don't like that she represents the radical left. If she runs, I'll match up what she claims her stance on issues and my stance on issues. For some reason, I see her as a "politicain" and that doesn't garner my trust.

Let's see here. A woman who committed an immoral sexual act OR a woman who wants the government to run every aspect of our lives, including the raising of children. I think the latter is FAR scarier.

It would only have been immoral if it was a Cuban cigar.

America will always pick a stupid man over an intelligent woman any day. Bush could take a crap on the white house lawn while on national TV, launch a nuclear attack on Seattle, and run a bus full of small children off the road while driving drunk, and people would still say he's a "strong leader with good moral values".

I disagree, anyone who does not believe in freedom is ignorant in the area of political ideology, no matter how "intelligent" they purport to be.

Are you expressing a disgust with representative democracy?

I don't have a problem with her as a person, but we need some fresh blood in the white house next term.

especially with the (albeit slight) prospects of John Bush running for president, the idea of a white house controlled by two families scares the crap out of me.

There is some truth to that theory, politics in a country such as ours should not allow nepotism to take over. That kind of defeats some of what we were fighting against in the beginning right?

Precisely. No more Bushies please.

OK, what has she achieved since she got elected to the Senate? Give me some accomplishments. I did see her napping on C span one day.

I do think some wish to move, but I don't see the point. I also think that some have bigger mouths then they do hearts.
